I came here after hearing Ricky Duran sing this on The Voice USA Dec 2019. Dude tore up that guitar solo. I have so much admiration for Stevie Ray Vaughn. Didn't know he played this. Bravo to both of these gentlemen. RIP
The blues were born from of Southern Black church music. If played in Church, the music was sacred,. But, we have the line "His mama cried because he played in bars." BB himself said he was accused of playing "for the devil ". It really bothered his conscience. He once asked "When I driving a tractor to plow a field, was I driving for the devil? Playing guitar was my job. I wasn't playing guitar for the devil'.
The Devil doesn't own anything. Not music, not nothing. Jesus stripped him all the way down. God would be glad to jam with you. All you have to do is ask.
My very 1st concert was Clapton at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City. Who should make an appearance but Old Albert King. Oh, and did I forget to say B.B. came out also? Those three guitarists on the same stage for little old me. I was probably 15 at the time. Ah, the good old days in the 70s.
Way more adds in UK than USA. ON the low this is the baddest beats to come out of the South. SRV bridges the gap between new blues an old in a way that Hendrix did. Here SRV sounds cool and composed still untethered by the chains of this reality. Broken lose by bad blood. The King stands true to his promise. The throne hangs in good hands. Praise the almighty for this good music and mentality. 🙏✌️🔥

It doesn't and it won't get any better than this - in the Blues. Simple playing, simple singing and simple joy of Music - God's gift to Humanity.
I like the epic line: "If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." 👍
Albert king has that rocky rickshaw jam and Stevies just slicking it away ,both are making it sing the story.
SRV is the Greatest blues player who ever lived.
Albert King 👑 was
Stevie was like a river flowing, could go on and on.
I needed this right now in this moment
Albert's phrasing is unbelievable.
Two legends in one shot...One famous blues classic of Albert King that also Hendrix covered..Great...
I came here after hearing Ricky Duran sing this on The Voice USA Dec 2019. Dude tore up that guitar solo.
I have so much admiration for Stevie Ray Vaughn. Didn't know he played this. Bravo to both of these gentlemen. RIP
They don't make them like Ol' Albert anymore.. what a legend!!
Shout out to the drummer too!
Gus Thornton really hit the nail on bass!!
superb!
respect to the drummer also. incredible jamming!!
sorely missed masters
Albert was a true gentleman.
Stevie is great but man Albert is the KING.
if this is the devils music , i would be honored to jam with him
Amen brother.
The devil can go to hell.
Someone got their damn directions screwed up beyond recognition.
@@tundrawomansays5067 Truly. Something this good is obviously played in heaven.
The only time Stevie misses a string is when it breaks
Doubt he missed it even then.
Blues ain’t music, it’s a way of life
Thumbs up, for the perfect Duo, for this song! Penelope
April 6/66 I too was born under a bad sign?
King of Kings
Albert King ls The Best Guitar 🎸 player And The King of The Blues.Mr.Reginald Harris.
This is the most underrated guitar duo man
This is high-level shit
Matlock Wallace the fact is was pretty much a jam yes, but playing wise.. it's pretty simple. Just so much soul and tone makes it! :) cheers
@@alexterrel9594 the soul and tone is what makes it “not simple”. Many can play the exact notes and nail the timing. Few can sound “exactly” like these guys while doing it.
