I am a Sanatani Sikh and always celebrated Diwali with other Sikh and Hindu families. As a fact one Sikh family even organized Janamastmi at his home. KHANgress and British understood Indian psyche very well by first coming here as "traveler" and THEN manipulated Indians and their literature so much that Indians fight with each other. As Indians we should find similarities to be UNITED or else you can see different people in even your family who disagree with you on small things. We DHARMICS are the same ie. Hindu-Sikh-Boddh-Jain! I am Hindu punjabi and was hugely impressed by Puneet’s last episode hence shared with a Sikh associate. Was shocked to see the reaction of so called moderate Sikh as he called Puneet a RSS agent. So much hatered for murti and Devi puja. Will share his comments speared on WA.

I am Sikh and I celebrate Diwali and has been doing so since childhood..we even use to do Lakshmi Pooja...there is nothing in Sikh teaching that says not to celebrate any Hindu Festivals and traditions...remember all Sikh Gurus were born Hindus. Guru Nanak Devji was a reformer he tried to teach society of his time to leave superstitions and follow righteous path...he basically taught the same things as other great indian reformers and even some of the teachings of Christianity. However they were part of the Sanatan Dharma...don't let anyone tell you anything else...WKWF.

100% growing up we were closer to our ancient traditions, and then slowly in 1990s we started to get more extremist. Thanks for opening my eyes.
I worship lord shiv , Ram and Krishna. And also I worship Guru Nanak , Guru Gobind singh ji and all sikh gurus. They were our gurus too. If we celebrate Diwali, we celebrate gurpurabh too. My parents never taught us that sikhs and hindus are different.

Sikhs are forbidden from worshiping Hindu deities and are only allowed to worship the one creator.
He using two documents in bad faith as the gurus only asked to have congregation on Diwali but didn't ask them to celebrate the story of Rama retuning to his kingdom. It would have been made clear that Sikhs should celebrate Diwali in gurubani.

I have Sikhs as my neighbours and we all celebrate Diwali and exchange sweets. We made langar together for sukhmani Sahab path . Give them prasad on any pujya as well as do kanya poojan . So we are one and we should get rid of those who wants to create problem between us
