Must give it to Indira Ji who in undiplomatic way walked out in a huff, out off a schedule high level meeting in Washington. She cancelled all engagements and immediately returned to India. It's only after this US condescention that she signed the 25 year Defence Treaty with USSR.
Problem in Indian IT sector is we are not creating Products. Big companies like Tata ,Wipro could have easily created a product wing. But they were never interested even though most developers gain good skills in coding then they are pushed to management positions.
