    This looks very good. Great work.

    Also is there a way to apply "auto jump to next song" to certain songs or does it HAVE to apply to the entire set?

    • @ableset
      @ableset  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Currently, this option applies to the entire set, but maybe I can add an option to song cues for this. What would your use case be for controlling this option on a per-song basis?

      @joepthehyena 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ableset so some songs go into each other seamlessly in my set while some hit a STOP marker and wait for me to select the next song. It would be nice to have the option to apply the “jump to next song” to the songs that have a seamless transition live. But I could also just create a midi note and have it midi mapped to take me to the next song when the play head goes past it.

      @@joepthehyena you can use a "SONG END" marker instead of the "STOP" marker to do that. When AbleSet reached a "SONG END" marker, it will automatically jump to the next song and continue playback.

    Hey! Is there a way to have a locked in IP Address so its always the exact same address for each use rather than generating a new one each time?

    • @ableset
      @ableset  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Joe! The IP address is determined by your operating system. If you're using a Mac, you can set your IP address to a fixed one by going to your Network preferences and changing the "Configure IPv4" option to "Using DHCP with manual address". You can then give your computer a fixed IP.
      I recommend using a high number in the last place so that it is less likely your computer's IP will clash with the IP address of another device on the network. For example, if your router's IP address is 192.168.178.1, I'd set my computer's IP address to 192.168.178.250.
      Let me know if this works for you :)

      @@ableset thank you so much man. This is the greatest thing ever. Ableset that is. You nailed it.

      One last thing. Is there anyway Ableset could come with two licenses so I can have it on my desktop computer as well as my laptop? It would just be nice to have that option but I understand if you aren’t trying to do that. Thanks again 🙏

      @ableset  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joepthehyena you can use your license on as many computers as you like, as long as they're yours. So you should be all good with your setup :)

    Was a solution! Is this usable with Session View as well?

    • @ableset
      @ableset  ปีที่แล้ว

      For now, AbleSet is only available in arrangement view since it relies heavily on locators to work. If you prefer working in session view, you might want to take a look at Ableton Drummer's Scene Setlist plugin: isotonikstudios.com/product/scene-setlist/

    Is there a way to use Ableset on a dry network? I have two Mac mini’s running radiantly and a WiFi router. I want to be able to control them both with my iPhone?

    • @ableset
      @ableset  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean a network without an internet connection? If so, AbleSet will work on a dry network. Just make sure all devices are connected to the same one :)
      If you want to try it out yourself, you can download the free trial and see if it suits your setup and workflow.
