    These are the same doctors who saved a 2 year old child on BLR-Delhi Vistara flight.
    Real life heroes! Would like to hear more about that incident.

    How much hands-on do we get in central institutes in surgical branches esp obgy ? Is it true that central institutes don’t offer much cutting as compared to states ?

    Ground reality is that, very branch is saturated in metros.Even you do it from any premier institute,it all depends on which part of country you work in and how much skilled u r.
    Move to periphery,every degree and every branch will fetch you a very good money and prestige.

      During my internship and bond period I saw male obstetrician to be happier than their female colleagues. And to be less frustrated .
      I have seen male obstetrician doing much better. Fairly a male can opt . And also at some places male obgy did not have to do mlcs . Only female obgys are asked to do.

    • @oishikachakraborty9338
      @oishikachakraborty9338 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Same as that for females, the climate is not at all hostile for men, and even patients’ outlook is changing regarding male gynaecologists. A lot of my fellow residents and seniors at PGI were male. My seniors at least, are doing well for themselves.

    Salary of OBS Gynae in private sector ?

    • @oishikachakraborty9338
      @oishikachakraborty9338 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Depends on what position you are offered and in what hospital. Private hospitals in peripheries tend to offer a lot more than in bigger cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore. That’s probably because there are a lot of people applying for jobs in big cities(so HR can afford to bargain) and not a lot of people want to go to smaller towns.
      In Delhi, post PG/SRship , one is offered the position of an associate consultant which pay is almost as much as an SR is paid in Delhi colleges.

    How narrow minded people are🤣🤣🤣🤣.....no branch is above the person...if you are passionate you can excel in any branch...ya there are limitations in non clinical ones...but not in clinical...i know obgy people who are hardly making 1 lac per month...and chest physicians who are earning in crores in a year...ent surgeons making 1 lac per day..... psychiatrist making 7-8 lacs per month
