Your videos have been helping me out so much! I’m currently on a decluttering journey and it’s so helpful to know that my unwanted things may be worth selling. It makes me feel less bad for getting rid of stuff. ❤️
I’m so happy to hear that, Diana! 🙌 Sometimes it’s a good idea to set a sell by date for your clutter, so that it’s just not hanging around your home, but I have plenty of great selling tips on this video if you haven’t seen it already: th-cam.com/video/EgnB2QAf3N8/w-d-xo.html
This ontl applies if you're wealthy in the first place and can afford expensive products...my make up brushes and shoes are from target. Literally 25 buck sneakers. And 20 buck makeup brush set.
I once repainted a thrift store ceramic statue. I "zombified" it for fun. I got bored of it and put it on Facebook marketplace and was surprised when it started a bidding war. People wanted it and were willing to pay more than asking. I didn't take more money and just sold it to one guy who I could tell really wanted it. I almost re donated it because I didn't think anyone would want it.
I lived near a golf course, put on a backpack and shagged balls, im a bad golfer so I know the tendencies, Titleist pro v 1, sold like crazy at my curb side stand , near the course , upstate new york
Apple earbuds packaging once sold for $20. MacBook original packaging sells for enough to feed me for a week! 😂🎉 Random twigs I found on a hike were dried, spray painted and arranged to made like $50 on Craigslist. Lol I thought that’s why Yosemite says “don’t touch our trails” people making bank 💰 on nature
It is so true that people buy anything. Probably another hoarder!! I'm thinking about why would someone pay good money for empty boxes. And my guess is that they are using the boxes to sell counterfeits. So it is true then that we can't tell a book by its cover!! Buyer Beware!!
Not sure about the Nike boxes, but I know as for Apple boxes some people buy them specifically just to hold stuff for organization! Apple boxes are highly prized for organizing, I think Marie Kondo gets hers from the exact factory that makes Apple boxes in fact. 🤔 don’t quote me on that, but I could swear I read that somewhere.
My first thought was they want to sell their shoes/electronics and selling them in the box invreases their selling value (they seem more new to the eye of the customer)
I guess the strangest thing I’ve sold was used plastic flower pots, you know the one the plant is in when you buy it in the store. Can’t remember how much I got for them, ot much but still…
I recycled several collections of odd things, because I didn't have the creativity to sell them. For example, a couple weeks after recycling a large collection of glass jars with lids, I saw on an online community bulletin board that someone was looking for glass jars!!!
Same! I was saving them, to plant my veggie garden seeds, but didn't end up doing the garden last year, so when I had a yard sale last autumn, one of the customers was a teacher. Well, our conversation got on the subject of classroom crafts and before you know it, i was hauling that bag of TP rolls, along with several plastic food containers, partial rolls of wrapping paper, hangers, egg cartons, and an old pair of Wellies to her car. I didn't charge her though -happy to donate to a teacher!
What platform do you sell on? I probably have a thousand pine cones in my yard right now and I need some money. 😂 I'm assuming you need to ship them depending on what platform you're using right?
My hang up is that I love WEIRD / unusual / unique things - therefore, I’m not making any money on my “best” excess ~ because I don’t want to let it go. 😩 I’m tryyyying to get there, I promise. 🤓 (Side note: I also once had about a dozen pine cones of that size *to sell,* but OOPSED and allowed them to get weathered and moldy. D’oh!)

I have A LOT of stuff that I would like to sell Kid's clothes, toys, such as Legos pieces, a Sponge Bob gaming to hook up to your tv and kid(s) can play Tons of beads for the jewelry maker out there It's painful memories for me to have them here. Because my ex lied to the courts and took my kid's away from me, turned them against me and alienated them from me where they wish I was never their mom Yes, they've outgrown these clothes that I bought. I haven't seen them for 3/yrs so... Got A LOT of stuff here🥺
It’s true! All of the prices that you see in green are the actual sell prices on eBay! I did a lot of selling myself, and I saw some of these things firsthand. 🙌
@@doctorjungla599 Depending on what you want to sell, there is also Poshmark, Decluttr app, Facebook Marketplace, etc - all of them have their pros and cons, I hope to do a video soon! Good luck ✨🙌✨
What was special about the pepsi bottle? And how did you know it was special? And of course you can make money selling lululemon, mac, and bareminerals lol They’re name brands. And I can’t think why anyone would pay actual money to get a pile of pinecones
Crystal Pepsi was a limited edition drink that is very rare - I guess nostalgic for some? And the line ones are typically bought for crafts, like wreaths - good ones go for $$$!

That giant pinecone was quite remarkable though and I am not surprised someone paid $17 for it.
Truly a natural work of art! ✨
I would imagine someone into art would. Or to someone that doesn't have pine trees near them.

I guess... do only wealthy people find pinecones?
I would love to see a video on how to sell the odd random things in your house that you don’t feel right just throwing out :’)

I sold ticket stubs from 1970s Johnny Cash live concert. I found them in the bottom of a box i was recycling.
I guess the strangest thing I’ve sold was used plastic flower pots, you know the one the plant is in when you buy it in the store. Can’t remember how much I got for them, ot much but still…

Where would you sell such items??? I need to know 😀
eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc 👏

Unfortunately, with shipping costs factored in, you may not make that much money even if someone actually buys this stuff.
You have to charge a separate fee for postage.
The buyer pays for shipping.
I call bs on some of this 😂
couldn't find link
I dont see links. I want to sell my stuff. Help, please.
