I've never tried to use the gravely cultivator this way. I have my dad's 61 Model L-I and the rotary plow and cultivator attachments. I also have the Troy Bilt Horse, and I think it works fine. I may give the gravely a try this way though.
I used a Gravely this spring w/tiller for the first time and I have a 90's era Horse 8hp. I'd use the Horse 2:1 over the Gravely. Maybe 3:1. The gravely kinda sucked. I'd give the Gravely an A for a mower/bushhog, but it doesn't seem to do anything else well.....No wonder BCS has smoked Gravely out of existence...
Nice job! I love mine!
Only works in reverse?
No, it does go forward.
It’s easier to cultivate backwords
I'm not sure that I would ever do it this way -- but to each their own, I suppose. It sure looks good when you're done.
Far better than a Troy-Bilt horse!
BITE your tongue!!!
