stumbled across this video. definitely something i needed before i started by product management career. most of the terms you discussed are terms i came across and just learned along the way. knowing these things would definitely help someone who plans to start their product management career. you sir gained a subscriber! thank you!

Tech Debt can also come about through changing technology and not prioritizing modernization. It happens very fast and should be considered a development priority even during the MVP phase.
This was extremely helpful Aakash. Not sure if this is in another video, but what types of questions are you asking team members during the three parts to complete an action plan and to make sure everyone remains on the same page?
HIGHLY dependent on the situation, unfortunately there's no template of questions to ask but it's more about adopting a customer-centric and strategic mindset when approaching every project
Could you please make blueprints/ rodemap videos for Product management for people are engineers but want to transition into PM roles? There is so much content on TH-cam but it’s too difficult to develop real skills. As you have very good experience can you please cumulate step by step approach and its related resources? As you mentioned there is no point in watching any random video of PM we should go in structure approach and should measure our skills
I have never understood why people use music in these type of videos in the first place. It is so distracting and takes away from the content. Can you imagine in a class the teacher giving a lecture and music playing in the speakers? It even makes me question this creator's judgement (not good for a product manager)
@ids_e-r4258 every creator has their own style, (and learnings).. I can’t go back and change a video from the past, but I can learn and apply things to future videos (as good product managers do)
*Please tell the non tech and non engineering PM's fields . Like e-com and other field which don't require engineering background so that I can have full clearity in which field to work in as a PM.*
Oh yeah, the whiteboard is an issue. I had that happen at my work. We're a product manager, was using a whiteboard and everybody was online similar to TH-cam watching it on video. They couldn't see anything
Hey , great video Aakash. Just one question - would you recommend someone PM fellowships like upraised or NextLeap's if someone is trying to break into product roles
I’m not familiar with those fellowships, but here’s how you should think about it: theoretical information will only help you understand the role better but won’t help you land a role.. only practical experience (side-projects, internships, 20% projects, etc) will help you break into a product role
That's great attempt but it could be improved by explaining all those concepts in the sequence what actually that lies while doing the product development.
Thank you very much for the video. It's really helpful. Do you think someone could apply for a Product manager position with background in project management in small it company? Could you give advice on which skill or experience as project manager could be translated to product management application?
Glad you liked it. Project management is a good skills for product managers, but developing product sense and technical understanding should be your focus now.
Not sure if you’re trolling or being serious.. but to answer at face value, you can always work around your physical insecurities by focusing on things like clear communication, structured thinking, and holding the pen.. your work will always represent you more than your physical appearance (short, female, non-white, etc.)

50 seconds into this video. This is the one I have been searching so far. 12 minutes. Short, to the point. No promises. Clean. Gonna connect with you.
Thanks!

This was such a helpful video Aakash. Thank you! I'm a non-technicatl founder trying to lead a technical team and this video helped me so much!
Awesome! Another such video with new terms is in the works so watch out for that
I have understood a lot in simple terms. I usually don't comment. Thank You Please Do Upload more such videos. It's so Valuable>>>>
Thanks for watching, and taking the time to comment! Another video of 15 new terms dropping soon

@memos106 yes you can, but it won’t be easy. Try getting an internship at a startup to begin and grow your skills from there

Will do, thanks
Greatly helpful for wanna be Product Manager.
Thanks!
Very nice video! Thank you so much for the crash course!

Unfortunately can’t remove the music now, but will keep in mind for my next video, thanks

Request you to please remove the background music for clear audio.
Thanks for the feedback.. will fix that in the next video.. updated 15 terms video coming out next week
Does it also needs to have metrics on what success looks like?
Which term are you asking about??
Loved it.

Every product has a different sequence 😂
@@AakashMehta could you please mention one in which we make wireframes after UX designing?
Everything is an iterative process.. so I actually very often make revised wireframes after the design team has proposed some UX designs

What are more terms or concepts that you've heard being used in tech?
Nice video from a novice like me pov. But please do not have spelling mistakes.
What was the spelling mistake?
Great great video brother best advice
Would love to talk to you 😊

Product owner is not the same as a product manager. A pm should not be writing acceptance criteria
What’s the difference in your mind between product owner and product manager? And what are the overlaps between the two?
You don't need to the cheesy B-roll. It doesn't help the message.
Noted, thanks
I like it. Do ur thing Aakash. Thanks for the vid
