    I have used Thai hospitals three times in my visits there. Nothing but praise from me. Incredibly , no more expensive than here in Australia , where we are told it is “free”. If I ever need hospitalisation for a condition , think I will fly to Thailand and recuperate at leisure.

    I live in New Zealand and I had the same experience as the Australian in the !st story. I tried to get a dentist appointment here in New Zealand before I flew to Thailand in 2022 as I needed a filling. . I phoned around and got the same old story that they were not taking any new clients on for 6 months. The dentist only works 3 days a week. A two month wait for an appointment an other various excuses.
    I gave up in the end and thought I would wait until I went to Thailand in a few weeks time.
    To cut along story short I was in a small town in Isaan and I was walking along the street and saw a dentist sign. I walked in off the street, no appointment and said that I need a filling. The receptionist said certainly sir , take a seat. The receptionist gave me some forms to fill in and after a 10 minute wait I was in the dentist chair. The dentist spoke fluent English and within 1/2 an hour I had my new filling. The dental clinic was spotless and had all the modern equipment of a New Zealand dentist. The grand total came to 800 Thai Baht. The equivalent in New Zealand would have cost me around 7000 Thai Baht.
    this was 2 years ago and I have not had a problem with my filling and I understand that the dentists train at the University in Chiang Mai.

    I believe I’ve seen every single one of your story’s videos all the way back before you numbered them Nd just spoke from first hand hearing it. No editing any emails cause it was all in memory. And it’s one of the ones I look forward to every week. That comment front the dude you mentioned is a one off I’m sure. I love listening to the good and the bad, it’s never once gotten old. Sure, they have a lot in common with each other story but each one is its own little hidden gem that someone else loved and experienced, whether it was love or lost. Don’t ever stop! I’ll happily take over for you when you one day have had enough. 100% serious man. Keep it up brother, gonna watch this new video now that I’ve commented

Can’t wait to be back in a couple months. Trying to get all my teeth in that movie star smile. It’s difficult finding how to get a consultation from places in BKK while I’m here. Planning to get that done my next trip. July or so. Keep on doing what you do 🫡

    I have had a very good experience of the Thai private hospital system. excellent high level care better than Australia by far. I loved that philipine story of 25 years ago. It predates my experience by far but I can totally relate to the nervousness of a first time in a bar surrounded by pretty girls . Thanks again Peter I love the old school stories would love to know if any one has one that predates the vietnam war even 1950,s anyone.

    People confuse Thailands privare hospitals with health care system, it's not, it's a business. I recently went to a public hospital in Thailand trying to get an ultrasound to check veins in my leg and was told it's a minimum 3 months waiting time. For anyone in Europe they're much better off exploring private health care and dentists in eastern Europe. It's much cheaper than in Thailand.

    Hello Peter, I love the stories and comments you present. I have a totally different view on experiences now versus 25 years ago. Twenty-five years ago, while in Thailand, I knew nothing about it. However, after listening to your stories, I have a brand new outlook, optimism, and thus, a whole new, informed, experience in Thailand. Things are actually better for me now than back then. We have to live in the now. Now is all that matters. Thanks for the great job, Peter.

    I would never use a Thai hospital myself for my Thai wife died in a Thai hospital due to a notch up by Thai doctors, my wife died of a fungal blood infection given to her in a Thai hospital. So talk how much you want about Thai hospitals, I say they’re no good. It took them a month to find out what was wrong with my wife, something that should’ve taken three days.

    Totally true about the Australian medical system. Dentists in Thailand are excellent - I plan my trips months in advance and usually includes a dental visit. Most dentists are trained in the US. Hospitals in BKK and Hua Hin are service orientated, inexpensive and efficient.

    I'm curious how many nurses in Thailand are actual nurses. You see a lot of Thai nurses on IG that have a habit of showing off bikini pics etc. Same with police officers and teachers. Many of them have sexy or bikini pics on their IG *don't their husbands or bfs get jealous of them posting these?* You'd think jealousy with thai women go both ways. If they get jealous of you out of the blue, wouldn't Thai guys or foreigners get jealous of their sexy IG pics too?

    In Australia I would guess their NHS covers everyone … which means many are on Govt assistance and pay nothing into the system and you can only tax those who pay so much … which means their NHS resources must be stretched to cover everyone regardless. Waiting for medical care is inevitable. In Canada I’ve been told IF you’re paying cash you’re seen almost immediately (makes sense … allowing medical staff to supplement their income which is probably insufficient relative to what they do under an NHS system helps attract competent people). So it’s no surprise IF you’re paying cash you’ll receive better care. Additionally it’s ironic many who are paying outrageous taxes to support their NHS in their home countries say they are seen for free under their NHS systems. Soon we’ll have the same NHS in the States and the same wait-forever-for-barely-adequate-care will be the norm here too.

    I am off to Thailand next week, including a visit to my dentist. I have had a huge amount of dental work in Thailand (12 crowns, a bridge and fillings) but could not go during covid when I had more major dental problems, 2 wisdom teeth cracked apart were taken out, and a molar needed crowning.. The Australian work was expensive and not up to the standard of my Thai dentist. My teeth are soft and not so strong , I still have a full set thanks mostly to work done in Thailand. I have never had a problem with the Thai work.

    Regarding the shoulder that would most likely be a calcarea which should have been suspected clinically and easily confirmed by a simple x-ray. Treatment is subacromial cortisone injection (preferably Lederspan).

    But to answer the question: Cooking, massages on demand, cleaning, aerobics, no complaints about serving her man.
    However, Thai culture has a somewhat loose relationship at best with the truth and honesty. They also are run by their parents to give them money. And Thai women are the easiest on the planet.
    So it’s up to you if the pros outweigh the cons.

      Yes no problem but I don't give advice about girls in emails anymore since a guy I helped out showed his girlfriend my email and she went ballistic at me

    Canadians come to the US when then need something done quickly, but it’s expensive. Sounds like Australia has the worst of both worlds.

      @@bitplaya7432 That does happen sometimes, but at least we have the option to get an operation quickly if we have the money. It’s not a perfect system.

    A lot of the stories are very one sided here. Medical system is not that bad in Au and not that hood in Thailand, but people
    choose to see what they want to see.

    I leave in Melbourne, dentist is expensive but not over blown by your subscribe.
    During pandemic all medical and hospitals were under pandemic restrictions.
    No such problems if you have private insurance.

    Maybe I'm getting old but a 20 something mongering just seems too soon and a bit pathetic

      Why?

    • @mcluvin65
      @mcluvin65 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think the 20s is when young men should be forming relationships, starting a family in the 30s, suffering in the 40s when disappointment sets in, getting a second youth in their 50s and become A monger

    • @mcluvin65
      @mcluvin65 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @President_Joe_Biden just experiencing the stages of life, 20s is much too young for a monger lifestyle, it is not a life that can be lived long before your broken down and alone

      It might be, but ask why are they doing that? If women were a catch back home 90% of young men wouldn’t consider traveling around the world for cheap box.
      Btw, they don’t need to pay in Thailand. A normal looking 22 year old white guy can have a new normal Thai girl in his hotel room every night. A guy with a 6 pack will only be limited by logistics and his own desire. Seriously Thai women are so easy it’s not even a thing
