I got accepted into Harvard. They were offering a juicy financial package but it would have cost 98k still for my degree.
Florida International University offered a full ride scholarship with books, room, board and a stipend. I'm basically going to be paid to study there.
My parents are still shocked, lol. You don't say no to Harvard, they said...
    Well, Florida, here I come!

Paying off smaller accounts creates great momentum. It gives you that much-needed sense of accomplishment in the beginning.

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm inspired to keep making my way towards debt freedom. Also, I've been planning to treat myself to micro-blading after I pay off my smallest debt. Funny to see someone else did that too :)

Is there a type of consolidation that will not affect your credit?

I'd love to know the story of her lawsuit. Many states are at-will, and an employer can fire you for anything (except for protected classes of course). I wonder if she falls into that category, or if she lives in an area where they have to have a reason to fire you.

Hello!! I live in an at will state and went to the EEOC to make a complaint about things that happened. I didn't necessarily have a case regarding why they fired me but I did have one due to other things going on.

I could use your advice. I'm in a similar situation. I was let go due to covid. I have student loans that's more than my morgtage. I took a personal loan for dental work, heating an air unit. I used the stimulus for my $1k emergency fund. I want to start own biz I invested in a program but I'm interested in the blogging site you all recommend and Lynn Richardson. I have 3 months expensives saved, Should I invest those two programs or complete the start the right business program?

Every passing year, institutions shift from being education centers to for-profit businesses, which means, around 2030 student loans will be tripled the number what it is today. Good luck class of 2030...

Post Corona you may want to start saving up for flying lessons so you can do it yourself. Get to travel on your schedule when and where you want.
