Are you going to be at the Chicago Sports Spectacular in November or the National in 2025 in Chicago with a Table? Just Curious. If so. Can people bring cards to you that might need extra treatment questions on?
I go to National but don't set up to work; I just enjoy the show. But.... I can answer card questions for you. If you are on IG you can send me messages anytime. I make the products and teach how to use them. I don't take on cards to work on.
Unfortunately, not, they can be pretty difficult. Sometimes I can get them to go away by using a little humidity first and then holding the cards flat. But it’s pretty tough.
@kurtscardcare I ordered your spray and product for scratches on foils. Is it a waste to even attempt to remove dents/scratches or at least can the products be useful for everything but dents on pokemon cards?
Do you still recommend a humidor? Or do you just soak it in your spray? I have a badly creased modern relic card. Cant soak the whole card because of the relics.
The humidor is great for mild indents. And getting a card a little softer before working on edges and corners. Badly creased relic Cards sound like a permanent issue. If you want to show me a picture, send me one on Instagram. 🤙🏼
Hi Kurts - I have an NT card with gouge/dent I was hoping that your method could possibly help in raising the area. I don't own a humidor. Do you think your spray without humidor would help? or is humidor a must.
Hey man, I found a humidor on Amazon for 15 dollars, the reason for the humidor is you want the humidity to soften the card, also the humidity is what pushes the dent/gouge out.
I bring the card into my bathroom with the shower running at a luke warm temp so not too hot to create some humidity. I tried this on cheap vintage cards first, but it works in case you don't own a humidor yet.
Thanks for the video Kurt. Do you do this for people willing to pay? I need help with a card or two and would love to have you help me get them to top notch cards. Please let me know. Thank you sir.
Sorry I missed your message, no, I don’t take on cards personally, I make the demonstrations and the products. If you ever need any tips or ideas, you can send me a picture on Instagram.
What kind of humidor and how much moisture should I add to the humidor? Never apply water directly to the card right? Also when to do the two acrylic flattening technique? Would appreciate a video or a link to one of your old ones that covers this. I’m working with vintage pokemon and 90s sports cards.
@@ogprogrammer I use a cigar humidor at 70% humidity. Don't use water but I dab my card spray on the card, that does not stain. then I hold it between the discs and let it slowly dry and retain the new shape

Using the spray, do u happen to know if it is detected when cards get graded ? Do they come back with a qualifier?
Can you use this technique on an autographed card (sticker or on card) or will it create issues with the ink?
You can, you won’t have any issues with the ink
Do you still have the Amazon link for the microfiber pads on your website? Don’t see it.

Is that the Tom Delonge 333 back there?
Is it just as easy on modern pokemon cards to remove dents?
