    Becoming a good trade takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.

    Nice tutorial, you earned a new Sub today! I have been really interested in day trading for a long time, just never acted on it. I've spent a lot of time watching tutorials from various creators trying to learn as much as I can, but as you correctly point out: its easy to get overwhelmed with the depth and range of information on the net. I need to ask you this question: when identifying trends... what is the timeframe you look at? How far back in time do you look for trends? Hourly? Daily? Weekly? This is a topic that I haven't really found a good answer to, I'd appreciate if you could inform me. Many thanks, look forward to learning from you!

    • @theforce5191
      @theforce5191 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I can answer your question based on my rules. My criteria are different than yours, so keep that in mind.
      I use these 4 charts W,D,233,55. I don't like lower charts because I have to check more often.
      If you use a:
      55, trend is D
      233, trend is w
      D, trend is w. I would highly advise you to look into the mindset of trading, not how to trade, because that's the easy part. It's your emotions that get I the way.

    about to get into your 8 week program. I think you are the best at helping regular people make it in day trading, lots of gimmicks and frauds out there. Before I join the 8 week and dive in and learn from you can you put a video together about taxes. So say I dive in and kill it this year (2023) how do I account for the taxes on gains I'm going to have to ultimately pay uncle sam. That video would be extremely helpful. Your content is the best and the program seems legit but my concern is my tax liability. Would be very interested on how you navigate taxes. Thank you

      @@JLT3 Your comment indicates you think of yourself as an advanced trader, yet you are watching a beginner video. What are Stock Options?/Trading stock options?

    • @Andrew.Ferguson
      @Andrew.Ferguson ปีที่แล้ว

      Stock options are contracts that involve a buyer and a seller, an agreed upon strike price and an expiration date. The buyer purchases the right but not the obligation to either buy shares from or sell shares to the seller of the contract. The seller gets paid to take on the risk of having shares bought from them or assigned to them (made to purchase). They are extensions of regular buying and selling of shares.

    How much money do you put in for day trading. What I mean is I have T D Ameritrade that you use. When I buy a stock and then sell it, I have to wait 2 days for the money to clear before I can use that money from the sale. Do you have to buy smaller amounts on different days to be able to trade everyday. Btw: it is taken over by Charles Schwab starting Sept. 1, 2023.

    Thank you. Good video. Any opinion on trading "Micro ES Futures" S & P 500? Apparently bc it's small...you are not constrained by pattern day trading rule ...make as many trades as you want and small accts are acceptable?
