I started trading a couple years back- I am at the stage where my trading losses are almost zero and finally getting consistent wins- have begun to size up a little at a time and seeing decent results. I feel calm during trades. It’s a long journey

Trend definition for bullish up trend is 5 criterion = Higher Hi, Higher Low, Rising 20, Rising 40 and a comfortable space in-between. The 20 and 40 are SMA each trend has different stages and legs added with a few indicators or (amplifiers) you can have an edge based on reversals. I have found that multiple time frame analyses is crucial in trading the futures. Trading futures is a passion of mine. This is not a bot. Just adding a little fruit to the peachy bowl.
For beginners, if you can't understand bearish and bullish here is an easy tip: when a bear attacks the paw goes from top to down and when a bull attacks, it charges from down(ground) to up (sky). :) so when the candles are going down: bear, when it goes up: bull

The biggest thing I got from this presentation was "The Back Testing Of the Trend Break" concept. It's quite common to see a trend break , only to have prices jump back over / under the trendline. The Back testing of the T/L break at least gives some sort of confirmation that the trend has changed , especially if the back testing candle has a long upper wick for a short trade or a long lower wick for a long trade. I rather practice this trading method in my paper trade account instead of spending endless hours trying to write code for exotic indicators .
Terrific video, thank you. "trading range" is also a market structure term. The market many times is neither bullish or bearish but in a range aka coil. Many times you can be in a coil and even your coils have coils.

Im Trading 5 min and 1 min candles within 2 h of Open bell. Works Well. Up, correction/pullback, Up again, another pullback and Up again. This pattern Happens a Lot right at the Open. Easy to implement and execute bullish starting strategy i still use after 5 years of trading. The pullback can be flat/almost flat, a Triangle shape or a flag shape. This start works Most if Not all bullish Chart candle patterns. Loving it.

Thank you for this video. i just have a question, if you for example you trade penny stocks and whatever is top gainer pennys stock that that day is, would you check the $SPY for the market structure or the stock you are trading? Do you check the $SPY for market structure regardless of what you are trading?
On Wed before Thanksgiving, day trading TSLA, I lost equivalent to 2 weeks of my income. Today, I tried to recover the loss, but ended up losing equivalent to 5 weeks of my income. On the net, I lost equivalent to 7 weeks of my income in just 2 trading days. I only hope I can make as much as I lost in the same length of time, but the method that was working for me no longer works. I have to come up with something new.

When adding trendlines do you take into consideration a highertf trend on a higher tf potential povit point on certain hours.. of each trading day and the session your trading in ? Perhaps you said it but i didnt catch the new vocab im hearing

Thank you! This was an excellent video! I think this will help me a lot. I have another question if you don't mind. I started to day trade stocks this year and I have made so many trades, but mostly on one stock. Do I need to enter each of these individual round trip trades in Schedule D? If so, I probably have to have 1000's of entries. I'm hoping that I can bundle by stock. If you so someone knows the answer could you let me know? I understand it won't be a tax advice, but I just want a little pointer.
I have been trading for 4 years, I use Think or Swim. Every year they send a summary of trades and amounts, I just follow instructions using free tax software to enter totals. It's not difficult at all, but as always it's tax so it's aggravating. I only know TOS but I imagine any broker will send the same summaries. Hope that helps.

I was a Commodity broker For a little while when I was younger All they pushed were options no futures ever , they told the clients that futures were to dangerous to risky , More than 90% of all the customers lost on every option purchase And that's when I got into writing options LOL Never forget that every time you make money in futures someone else loses it, So don't be someone else
