for a comment that's actually pertaining to the video (sorry I was playing this in the background earlier). I like your insights on the different ways on how you personally perceive the 3 order lineups and how you pin them against tier threats from 10-12. I definitely also am a midrange type player myself, though I am tempted to try tank. I agree that jet is in a weird spot where it aggro rushes but also recuperates enough to scale well; a big wall that filters tier 2 -3 decks but then starts to falter against tier 1. anyways back to zorga I think come set 13 its going to become like jet where they both teeter on and off the big contenders for the meta as well as filtering everyone else.
personally I like 4 normal pgs too, bouncing back to hand a pg is just too of a dopamine rush lol.
all in all always nice to see insights of a player thats seen their deck in and out, not enough deck mains dedicated to their deck in vg rn imo. there's profiles here and there but never as in depth
and what are your thoughts on using wandering in the current environment, I'm kinda biased towards decks that triple drive (jet/unica/zorga with the order)

I think we currently sit in a meta where looking for pieces and plusing is super important, important enough for the gather upon me not being good enough. In past moments of the game the extra check was needed to close games, but currently we don t need the extra chance to win.
Tbh, zorga is a deck that can win without relying on triggers as much (as long as it doesn t get out of control on one side or the other) so that alchemagic slot is best invested on digging for a piece in the deck or recursion etc...
When you look at some of the pairings also, going -1 can be a huge detriment. You cannot afford to -1 vs greedon or ominagruzio who have guard restrictions. Willista is beaten throught raw grind. Gandeeva destroy cards so you don t want to lose more, etc...

In bt13 i think only one resentment will be needed, as long with 2 habitats instead of the oposite. Games will be short, so it will become more important to acces the 1st piece than recycling it
So maybe you can save some money there jeje
a nice profile and discussion. I played a mushroom aggro version of zorga and took it to a top 4 shop challenge finish recently. the midrange style is pretty consistent, but i really liked the rpd, mushroom and order for fast wins and just allowing for more chances to get lucky. i feel like to top at tourney you have to be good player but also have be get lucky and mushroom package just allowed for a bit more luck.
i have actually switched now to a claudine list because i think that does a better job using the rpd/mushroom package moreso than zorga. and i think zorga is probably best being played midrange like your deck style. i know you said in previous vids you didnt like mushroom aggro zorga as much, but you should def try out the mushroom,rpd package in claudine i think it really fits there well
I have also been told that claudine is much fun so i will definetely try her!

Whats up dude! Good job on the videos. As a zorga player thats mained the deck since set 5 its refreshing to see someone that actually cares about such an underrated deck. I love the hell out of the 2 current lists that you are showing. However there is one thing i wanted to question about you build decision. Why arent you running the red OT. 9 times out of 10 i feel like a 100 mil x2 attacking rpd is an auto win in any variation of the deck. Have you tested with it? Dont get me wrong blessfavor has good value overall but i feel like he only helps if you are behind. Maybe youve experienced something different. Also i am also split on running 4th pg or sancti. It feels awful everytime i top 7 with habitat and see sancti but no pg
Hi! Love the questions! While Red OT can lead to insta wins, it also has some issues.
1) not as strong during all the times of the game, while blessfavor or Blue OT are more similar throught the course of the game. If you hit OT on a situation that fits it, it becomes very strong but i think the situation doesn't come up as often as the other 2, and just grabbing a pg or healing and dealing the second dmg anyway can be more useful.
2) attack patterns: zorga is very good at dodging oponents "luck" in defense given how the power of the attacks work and the potency of those attacks. This leads me sometimes to do double rpd before the vg swing and the risk of not doing that is losing in some situations. For exemple, you might swing with zorga, hit a blank and they winning because they got the defensive and guarded. The risk of doing a wrong attack pattern just to enable the "broken" aspect of Red OT is too huge. I rather not play arround my own OT if i can win without it. Others are just smoother on those situations.
3) OTs don't come up that much, but when they do, often the other 2 are just as good at winning the game usually, so i don't like a more highrollish one that will happen to be worse in some scenarios.
That being said, red OT can be brutal and i think it definetely makes sense to run it even if just for that. (Also i like playing the game more and the other 2 do not end it on the spot, so i can still play. This particular reason isn t competitive jaja but i think the other 3 are good enough reasons to just pick a diferent one if you prefer it)
As for sanctitude, that card is bad in 75% of the MU. What you said is indeed what happens and i don't think habitat justify elementaria anymore. However, it happens to be good vs Greedon and Jet. After playing more i believe it is not required to beat against those so probably no elementaria is the right call. It also depends on locals meta, ofc!
@ZorgaVS That's really thought out. i didnt realize how good waiting on Vanguard's attack is.
Are there any rogue decks you think are worth looking out for? Trying to learn zorga since it feels like the most “premium format” standard deck due to the different deckbuilding directions it has. Love your insights!
I think kheios or tama are very good when they do their thing, so i would try to learn those pairings to see what they di. There is also ezel, who is a good aggro pick. Then there is ominagruzio, who i think its very likely to see play (but i forgot adding it to the video XD)
@@ZorgaVS very interesting to see how set 12 would go for zorga since the format just gets super fast really quick. How do you deal with cards that bot deck RPD, like jet or youth?
@@SioPa0o656 youth its easy to handle because the moment you have 1 keel in drop, you retire the dragon that is not in the circle you want to call keel, and just step over the second with the 4th attack. This way rpds will always stay in drop. To prevent keel from going to botdeck, you just intercept on 1st vg swing and it will stay safe.
As for chronojet, we have a lot of means to get more dragons, so we usually can use extra keels in the way explained above (if we have extra copies) or just dig for more RPD with orders.
Against youth, its important considering if it is worth calling them t2 going second, or if you can just let them stay in drop and fight the early game with shadow cloacks.
Aditionally, if you go 1st vs jet, you can stay in g2 one turn. Even if they ride to chronojet 1st, they won t be able to put them to bottom.

Usually the blitz order is used to grind the situations or to play arround restrictions. For the order to work, you want to keep using it everyturn (you try to put zorga from soul into drop if you need to bounce it next turn). If they have the restrict, you use it arround it, but what is generally most important is keep them in circulation by timming overcoming an eternity to make the most use of them.try however, not to flood on them to o much or it can get hard defending!

It feels very good! This way there is space for the other cards. It doesn t rly brick often. Later on, bist ayatvas (the g1) will add more to hand :3

@@danielgui7501 tecnicly speaking, the chances of that happening are never 0. Unless you run 41 orders, you are not guaranteed 100% you will have 1.
That exemple is a bit extereme jeje but what i mean that as you said, even running 10 doesn t guarntee you will draw 1 for turn 1. However, adding more might make you see less often other key pieces in another moments because you will be running less of them for the extra orders. This means that the correct number will be the number that makes the deck overall more solid throught out the whole game, not just more consistent t1 :3
Another argument for that would be that even if you do not see the order t1, the game is still fine to be played. Sb1 to draw 2 discard 2, is still a very solid skill that will make the game work and discarding 2 rpds (for exemple) is not a huge loss.
In anycase, 8 orders is a fine ratio not to brick t1 aswell UwU
