Sly 2 had Jean Bison who was racist (or specist?) towards Bentley, and this game has General Tsao, who is sexist! This kids series has some major balls!
As a person that grew up with a chicken farm on his house. I can assure you that chickens can reach incredible heights. It's very common to see them on top of trees. I can imagine a human-size chicken like Tsao would be able to get a lot higher and farther.
Here's the thing: Clockwork was pretty much the guy who killed Sly's dad. I base this mostly on the fact that Clockwork stated that "I am going to finish you like I finished your father." Plus, I doubt his hatred, which drove him to make himself into a damn Robo-Owl, would allow anyone else to have the final blow. The Fiendish Five were most likely there just to soften Sly's Dad up.
KidSnivy69 Pretty much. They were killers, but I view it as more of a Joker situation. Clockwork would never allow anyone, but himself to be the one to do it.
The Panda King did bury a whole village in snow, Raleigh was a pirate, Muggshot was a gangster, and I can only guess how many people Ruby killed for her undead army.
+eastwing329 yeah there's also the matter of Clockwerk being FUCKING gigantic too. They probably roughed him up then threw Him and Mrs. Cooper outside for Clockwerk to finish them while they searched for the Theivius Raccoonus.
I was hoping they would react to Tsao's line about women. You wouldn't expect to hear something like that from a cartoonish looking game like this one.
Sly: "So after we recruited the Panda King, We also recruited General Tsao and his army and used his necromancy to revive and recruit Neyla. We were also able to revive my father but that didn't last very long because the Panda King does not look when he goes to sit down." Panda King: My bad, didn't see him there. Sly: "Naturally, we revived him again but the problem with that was the timing, I think. Around my father's 2nd revival we decided to bust Mugshot out of prison and recruit him." Mugshot: Man, thanks for bustin' me out of the dog house. I gotta-- OH GOD
Just a tip for anyone who plays this in the future, Tsao's second phase has a minor case of Spark Mandrill Syndrome. If you use the charge attack (the one where Sly dashes forward and rams his cane into an enemy) on him and then use it on him again as he keeps trying to recover after the previous hit, he won't be able to do anything.
I love absolutely everything about this boss battle, from the fight, to the parallels you can draw between Sly and Tsao. This is probably my favorite boss in the entire series.
...And now the guru inexplicably has The Force...right... And that boss battle against Tsao was hilarious just for the commentary alone, especially those revival jokes.
You know, the thing i like about this channel is that they play games that they have played before and go around all of the bullshit, and you can even learn new things from how well they know the ins and outs of the game. That is unless Eliot is playing in which case its the same as having an autistic chihuahua dog screaming nonstop who has probably only watched another lets play of the games he plays making the same mistakes over and over again and wasting time not knowing what he is doing. Matt and Johnny should not be giving advice to someone who has already beaten this game and yet this whole series has been riddled with it.
I agree. I appreciate Elliot and I like his bullrush approach to things, but it's evident that he hasn't practiced playing this game well and the others shouldn't be giving him advice especially since this is their first time even looking at this game.
Personally I use the push attack, since it makes you advance towards the enemy with them being sent flying. It also makes me feel powerful seeing that Aura around Sly and the Enemy.
+Lucas Martinez I'll be honest despite my complaints I DO still enjoy the LP mostly I do think I'd re-watch this one unlike Shadow where the sheer negativity was crippling, purging any enjoyment I might have felt. Also while Elliot isn't playing the best I've ever seen I won't hold that against him since from what I can tell he's only played the game once
I honestly find their commentary for this MORE annoying than their Shadow commentary barring one particular episode that I make sure to skip because of how obnoxious they got in it. They have funny things to say in this too, but sometimes they say things about this game that sort've drive me crazy and I just have to say something because they don't seem to understand why this or that exists or why the developers decided to do this instead of that. It just annoys me in particular because this is one of my favorite games of all time and I know that every game isn't safe from criticism, but I feel they are heavyhanded on certain aspects of the game that really aren't major concerns in the first place and they treat it as such. I could give less of a shit about what they have to say about objectively bad games like Shadow the Hedgehog, but when it's a game that I love that they're taking the piss out of I can't help but defend it y'know? It's still a good commentary though. I just dread what they'll say when they get to Sly 4 at some point.
Has anyone did the glitch in the 2nd phase of the Tsao fight that if you do a knockout dive on him and silent obliteration you can knock all of his health in a flash?
This episode in general has made me very hungry for some General Tsao. And having Sly and Panda King work together? Why does that give me Twinsanity vibes?
+LuigiRulz324 So... why didn't Elliot just jump onto the bamboo trees to avoid the zombie arms right from the beginning, again? Why did he constantly let himself get hit, again?
"shes a women. shes doesnt know up from down" thank god my parents never walked in on that line because the game would probably be taken from me back then. also as a kid i never even realized the amount of wrong in that line.
0:01 - Oh man, there's something different about these slideshows in China compared to others. 0:26 - Plot twist. 0:37 - Doomed I say. 2:17 - But those gadgets... Tsao could totally afford them. 3:48 - The curse of Barrel Shadow has returned. 4:07 - Those are actually security devices that raise the alarm when broken. But the programmers had the day off. 5:15 - Elliot really needs to stop rushing HEADFIRST, give me props. 7:08 - Man, it's not like the hacking avatar can turn ANY direction with R3. 10:15 - Well if he could, he wouldn't have been such an easy target for the miners now would he? 12:15 - Oh man, those legs. The HD Collection shows too much in the GENERAL area now. Too much detail. 13:08 - I see the problem now... ELLIOT, USE YOUR DOUBLE JUMP! 13:40 - The very instruction Elliot is ignoring and probably even using incorrectly. 13:49 - Elliot is just gonna have a tough time with this rooster. 14:25 - Unfortunately, yes. Heard this a lot when tried the Half-Health challenge of this. 14:51 - What did John and Matt do to make Elliot suddenly good at this? 16:32 - None of these guys paid ANY attention to the fact that General Tsao's stand-out trait just showed up. 17:20 - Only one. You will know it when you see it. Probably because the second part is a complete joke compared to the first. 17:27 - Black magic guys. Black magic of the family Tsao. 18:22 - But he's dead. Hate Chip crushed. Burned to ashes. Neyla is part of him too. 20:56 - Thanks to HD Collection, Tsao confirmed to stay here just to taunt Sly until he leaves. 22:20 - You were reading to the end of this until to realize... you have no health left... "The Cooper family has been beaten by Tsao! Our legacy is superior!"
If some guard walked in and didn't know Bentley had a binoc-u-com, he'd be like "that turtle is fucking crazy, talking to himself and waiting for an answer."
They really don't pay attention to the dialog as much as they should considering this game's biggest charm (IMO) is from what all the characters have to say. I really have to roll my eyes when they miss stuff like what Tsao's "opinions" were about women.
Lucas Martinez You'd think Elliot would know when certain moments like these come up and allow the others to experience since he's played these games before. Sadly, Elliot is Elliot lol
Raster Punk It's not that, it's that I would have at least like to hear Johnny and crew react to it. The whole point of this LP, for someone like me who has already played the game, isn't to experience it (since I already have), it's to get SGB's take on it. So I'm not reacting to moments like that, I want THEM to react to those moments, which very well can't do if they don't bother to listen to the dialogue in this game (which they don't).
Raster Punk It's because THAT line in particular is really memorable, not that it's well written. It'd be like if they were playing Zero Wing (for whatever reason) and missed the "All your base are belong to us" line.
+TheMaleLilligant you also realize that they're complaining about something that would ABSOLUTELY BREAK THE GAME IN HALF IF IT WAS USEABLE ANY TIME! Seriously, does NO ONE see that with the "walk across the heavens" part? I'm sorry, but I actually like a BALANCED GAME!
+vgmaster02 I think what John was getting at is more that the concept of the Guru being able to levitate things shouldn't be in the game at all because it's inconsistent with his abilities at other times. It bothers them that, in canon, the Guru can do it, but he can't in gameplay. It feels like missing out, even though being able to do it would absolutely break the game. It's kind of like having a fight with a character that can use attacks that fire off multiple lasers, launch mini-nukes, and make clones of himself, but, when that character becomes playable, can only fire off three shots at a time, only make a decoy clone that can do nothing but stand there, and never launch mini-nukes. It's annoying that he can't do that when you know he can, but it would also break the game. And also, yeah, it really bothers me, too, that none of them ever commented on the dialogue.
vgmaster02 Dude, calm down! I didn't say I agreed with them; I just pointed out that Johnny is complaining more about the whole, "This character can do a thing because plot convenience and never again." It's a common complaint that characters can do certain things in cut-scenes or certain sequences and not in actual gameplay. I like the Sly Cooper games, every single one of them. I don't know why you're so worked up over something like this. Heck, I agreed with you that it would break the game! I don't know why you're so pissed.
The Tsao fight is pretty cool, being rather straightforward and your opponent having all sorts of tricks (I'm pretty sure you can whack the ghost dragons to get some health, by the way). That said, I think it lasts a little bit too long and they should've considered lowering Tsao's health.
Kanji Tatsumi in persona 4 uses a folding chair as a weapons, it's justs that as the game goes on you start getting shields instead becuz ain't nobody ever heard a legendary folding chair
Bentley: Uhhh sly, without the theifnet computer, how are we going to sell all these gold nuggets? Sly: C'mon Bentley, couldn't you smelt these into coins for us? After all, you did have napalm back in Canada. Bentley: alright, bring out the napalm!
Yo Elliot you know you can throw a bomb in the back pocket of a guard after you steal from them? Hold the Triangle button and stay a little close to them as they walk and Bentley will be able to lob it into the guards pocket. Hope that helps
+MegaBigBowser I tested it i's really finicky sometime because you can't move while you hold triangle which can cause you miss the bomb but gladly Thieves in Time fix it.
+kratosgow342 I've been able to move holding a bomb. You only stop moving once he gets ready to toss the bomb into the pocket. (purposely blowing yourself up and giving brain damage would do that XD which I like doing to Bentley on occasion, and watching every guard in the area run to the dead body and be confused like "what was that noise?" XD)
+vgmaster02 that's the problem that I'm talking about when you in range that you can toss the bomb on the pocket Bentley will suddenly stop and you can't move him until the guard is out of range I missed the bomb quite a few time but nothing gamebreaking but in Thieves in Time you can move closer to guard as you want.
Funny thing is, you can't buy gadgets anymore at this point. BUT, if you return to an earlier episode, the laptop is still there in the safehouse. So you're not locked out of purchasing any gadgets.
+Jack Noir "What's that, Senpai? I should guard because there's an incoming wind attack? Okay!" "Uh, Kanji? You gonna use your shield?" "What for? Shields are for whacking things." "You... have fun out there, man."
Now I'm interested... Mind wanna elaborate on why you want to visit Sweden in another Sly game, Elliot? I live in Sweden myself, so I'm very curious to know.
"Will It Breed" sounds like the perfect Pokemon show. It'd be Brock's hobby. Tsao being able to turn his shield into a full-on chakram made me want to put The 13th Struggle over this. And the people saying they didn't notice those..."interesting" comments Tsao was making...who cares, really? He's organizing a forced marriage, I already hate his guts, it's not like that does anything extra for me. XD
We could've had some hilarious reactions from SGB had they not glossed over that, but they did and it's a missed opportunity to be frank. It's not the first time they did that either in this LP.
The first phase of this boss killed me more times than the second phase, once I understood how the physics work it was ok. The second phase wasn't too bad I only died twice, just be a bit careful when he charges up his attacks.
+phantomshadow224 Master Thief challenge is really pain in the ass in first phase because you have half health and if I recall correctly you can die in that phase in 2 hits.
Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari The main protagonist has the title of Shield hero. He can only equip and fight with shields. I greatly recommend reading the manga. The main cast are very likable and you easily grow fond of them. As for the other characters, let just say you are NOT going to be fans of them. Especially a certain princess.
So I've been wondering this for a while, but besides the obvious solution of destroying the computer, how come Tsao didn't take the computer with him after he threw the smoke bomb at Sly? I'm just gonna guess it's because honor, or that Sucker Punch wanted to give the player back the computer as soon as possible.
+thepainsight He have a point though Tsao is an asshole. Clockwerk motivated by hate to kill Cooper clan for generation while Tsao treated everything as property even the person.
+Braxxton Brookshire If over sized owl doesn't count then a walking rooster doesn't count either, they are both what you would consider men considering the lack of humans in their world.
+kratosgow342 Sly most likely just considers Clockwerk to be a monster rather than just a machine or anything else, still doesn't mean that Tsao could be considered worse than him in Sly's perspective.
I know some other have said it, but I never understood Sly saying Tsao was the worst man he's faced. So he's a sexist, yea that makes him a dick, but what else has this guy really done? Nearly every other villain before has done worse things than him. But anyways I love his boss fight, especially the first faze. I find the best way to deal with his second faze is to spam the push attack, it can cancel his zombie hand and dragon head attacks if you hit him during the summoning animation.
+ThatGenericGuy59 Even ignoring Clockwerk, Sir Raleigh sunk 50 ships because he was bored, Muggshot drove out the people of an entire city to make his gambling empire, Mz Ruby was creating an army of the undead to take over Mexico, and the Panda King used his fireworks to bury villages in snow. Some of Sly 2's villains weren't as bad like Dimitri and Jean Bison, but there's still Neyla and Arpeggio. Then there's Don Octavio who polluted the water and destroyed a building. Tsao is far from being the most evil villain in the series.
Well it doesn't matter how WE feel about it. It's how SLY himself feels about Tsao compared to others he's fought. It's just his very personal opinion I guess. Tsao may not be the worst person he's ever dealt with because that's debatable, but a shitty person is still a shitty person.
holy crap, next thing you know, after the fight with Tsao, Sly will become a girl, Murray will be a Panda, Bentley will be a black piglet, Penelope will be a cat and guru will be a goose. anyone who gets the reference i will be happy about. cuz Sly and Tsao are basically fighting in Jusenkyo
+teeman9266 Considering that first game wasn't afraid to pull headlines in end-of-chapter news papers that can be summed up as "hot latina fox busts dangerous criminal", that's not exactly kids material
After hearing Tsao's "little comment on women" on my first playthrough, I was like, "...I'm gonna enjoy kicking your a** even more so now!"It was bad enough he took the laptop, but that sexist comment ticked me off! >:(
When it comes to a liger, at least it's logical because both of them are considered cats. When you add a chicken, which is a reptile with some dlc content(Short handed way of saying different adaptation) with a panda, it makes no sense. Now, a duck is one of the few species of a bird with a penis (If we want to get technical about science), but I'm pretty sure that chickens and roosters mate with their cloaca, which is also used for excrement. (If I'm wrong about the rooster, then I apologize, as I am more of a mammal person).
Flame of Udun No it's a pun, you can't just make a chicken character and name it Tsao without a reason. This is the kind of stuff the Japanese does with their characters except when they do it it's a bit more subtle.
Gat the Man I understand the joke, but a pun is a play on words with same sounds but have different meanings. In that case, a chicken named General Tsao does not qualify as a pun. It is, however, a visual gag. (I just realized this was a stupid argument and I'm going to stop now lol)
I know this is their LP but I do wish they took the time to buy upgrades and utilize them (granted some of them are useless), but I mainly watch them just because of their fun commentary.
+Jay M (JokerJay779) I never had a problem with the Panda King showing up, it's proof that he's different, yes he was part of the group that killed his father but still, he didn't do it alone. He became a criminal out of resentment to the nobility, not like he did it for the fun of it. Bentley said they needed a demolition expert and I think PK was chosen cause he was/is the best demo expert. The fact that he was able to put the past behind him and ask one of the few people he absolutely and utterly despises, for help means that he's grown as a person. He's setting aside his pride for the sake of someone he holds dear.
Sly 2 had Jean Bison who was racist (or specist?) towards Bentley, and this game has General Tsao, who is sexist! This kids series has some major balls!
Not overly racist but definitely enough discrimination. And General Tsao certainly fits the views of isolationist China
Actually necromancy is kinda fitting. He is a rooster. They wake you up from your sleep.
..... Son of a bitch....
+Oguzhan Gungor ....Dude....I had no idea for 11 years...
TheUltimateBeing01
why sleep is something that is associated with death.Eternal slumber.
Cock-a-doodle-DOOM!
Adiraiju Thank you, you'll be here all week right?
9:12 Sly: "I'm not a big fan of falling to my death."
Me: "YOU CAN PARAGLIDE, DUMBASS!"
He'll go lower and lower...
+BlueBlur86CP Unfortunately Paraglider or not things are treated as a bottomless pit in that sequence.
+BlueBlur86CP He'll only fall to his death more slowly! Don't you know how paragliders and physics work?!
+BlueBlur86CP Paraglider doesn't work in that part. Guru is blocking the paraglider from coming out.
and then an everything wrong with sly 3 is being made for fun lol
As a person that grew up with a chicken farm on his house. I can assure you that chickens can reach incredible heights. It's very common to see them on top of trees. I can imagine a human-size chicken like Tsao would be able to get a lot higher and farther.

+eastwing329 yeah there's also the matter of Clockwerk being FUCKING gigantic too. They probably roughed him up then threw Him and Mrs. Cooper outside for Clockwerk to finish them while they searched for the Theivius Raccoonus.
You guys talked over Tsao's controversial line. "She is a woman! She doesn't know up from down."
I was hoping they would react to Tsao's line about women. You wouldn't expect to hear something like that from a cartoonish looking game like this one.
Unfortunately, co-commentary tends to ramble on about their jokes instead of paying attention to the game.
Sly: "So after we recruited the Panda King, We also recruited General Tsao and his army and used his necromancy to revive and recruit Neyla. We were also able to revive my father but that didn't last very long because the Panda King does not look when he goes to sit down."

Sly: "Naturally, we revived him again but the problem with that was the timing, I think. Around my father's 2nd revival we decided to bust Mugshot out of prison and recruit him."
Mugshot: Man, thanks for bustin' me out of the dog house. I gotta-- OH GOD
This would be a very interesting thing to see...but lets make it a villian recruiting all these people
i think wen it comes to not gitting sit on you need to have somthing pointy on so they get up before crushing the person with there butt
so wen are they reviving clockwurk so clockwurk joins this random army
Just a tip for anyone who plays this in the future, Tsao's second phase has a minor case of Spark Mandrill Syndrome. "The cooper family has been beaten by tsao or legacy is superior!" I must've heard that line like 50 times when I was a kid.
You should've recruited colonel sanders for this mission. I heard he's really good at dealing with birds.
+Kenny Kitsune The first thing I thought was Spaceballs.
+Crystal Ashes Where can I find this? This sounds amazing.
Well, he is the quintessential Master Yoda for this game.
I don't know why, but hearing Matt's voice in this part made me super happy, it felt like I hadn't heard him for a while.
If you're still wondering about the kanji in the coins, they're 加, "increase" and 油, "oil".
Jiang-Shi grasshoppers. Makes sense
When you said using a defensive weapon offensively I too thought of Kanji, but I also thought of Captain America.

Matt: This is a battle of patience
Elliot: What's patience?
That's what I imagine Elliot's response would be
Hey Guys, do you remember the Spin attack? Elliot sure doesn't! xD lol
I found the push attack more helpful here.
TheOmniGamer They're both helpful here.
+CommandoKnight200 The push attack can cancel his zombie hand and dragon head attacks.
Personally I use the push attack, since it makes you advance towards the enemy with them being sent flying. It also makes me feel powerful seeing that Aura around Sly and the Enemy.
+CommandoKnight200 did he buy it? He can't use it if he didn't buy it.
I just LOVE how they NEVER pay a lick of attention to the cutscenes then complain how something works. =)
That's SGB for ya! XD
+Lucas Martinez I'll be honest despite my complaints I DO still enjoy the LP mostly I do think I'd re-watch this one unlike Shadow where the sheer negativity was crippling, purging any enjoyment I might have felt. 21:53 I like that the hopping vampires Tsao 'recruits' are praying mantisses.
God that Tsao fight was painful to watch.
+LuigiRulz324 Because it was hard or because Elliot sucked?
+Epic-Fran! because Eliot sucked and I play this game at least 4 times a year so I have this Bastard's patterns down pat.
That boss battle is my favorite part of the entire game, so I agree
+LuigiRulz324 So... why didn't Elliot just jump onto the bamboo trees to avoid the zombie arms right from the beginning, again? Why did he constantly let himself get hit, again?
Its amazingly easy if you spam Sly's special techniques like the push and spin.
12:50 Crouching Raccoon hidden Chicken!
"shes a women. shes doesnt know up from down" thank god my parents never walked in on that line because the game would probably be taken from me back then. also as a kid i never even realized the amount of wrong in that line.

+Liam Cristello Yeah, that was REALLY disappointing. I was looking forward to that line.

If you listen carefully, you can hear Matt snarfing it down in the background a few seconds later! XD
Okay. I have to agree. The whole the Guru has force powers is way too convenient.
Tsao's boss battle is my favorite boss battle in Sly 3, feels like a legit fair battle with a boss.
Sly did go to the Netherlands in the Penelope chapter, and he goes to Japan in the fourth game. (Feudal Japan, that is)
Elliot's not doing a lot of damage as Sly because he's not using the Triangle Combo moves. The push attack (Triangle then Circle) is OP as fuck.
All I can think of is Ranma 1/2's Jusenkyo training ground but Sly would end up as a panda just cause how mad the gang make him towards Panda King.
18:18 bently: Sly I don't remember telling you that, I think you're making things up so that you make me sound bad
Damn I was really looking forward to their reaction to Tsao's misogyny
Aw man...they missed the sexist dialogue :(
Awwwwh!! They didn't notice Tsao's sexist dialogue. :/
+vgmaster02
I think what John was getting at is more that the concept of the Guru being able to levitate things shouldn't be in the game at all because it's inconsistent with his abilities at other times.
And also, yeah, it really bothers me, too, that none of them ever commented on the dialogue.
vgmaster02
Dude, calm down!
+TheMaleLilligant
they didn't notice why Sly was able to jump so far...so...yeah...
Azure Phoenix
Yeah, they were kind of distracted through the whole thing.
There is a glitch I saw on TH-cam on where you can kill General Tso in this area, you have to use a smoke bomb and then use the silent take down move.
The dragon heads look like Chinese Gaster Blasters
.....damn you undertale
Except they don't well.....blast anything. They just sort of tackle you.
Matt the funny thing about Kanji is that he doesnt use the shield to defend himself, he just cross his arms like a badass.
+Jack Noir "What's that, Senpai? I should guard because there's an incoming wind attack? Okay!"
"Uh, Kanji? You gonna use your shield?"
"What for? Shields are for whacking things."
"You... have fun out there, man."
The downside about Kanji is he doesnt have more spells that he could be stronger against besides Zio and Phys
+Jack Noir Kanji doesn't need no fucking spells. He's got a chair; he's got this shit.
Is a tank any way, almost doing a suplex against a castle(more badass than just a train)
13:39 - 13:54 One fail after another.
that symbol is the 'Tai Chi'
Well, yeah, Kanji uses a shield, but his initial weapon was a chair from his own school. Pretty much anything goes for that guy.
Everybody do the chop "chop"
when the hands come out of the ground start climbing the bamboo trees.
Are you guys doing the Toy Story 2 game any time in the future? I had it on N64 and loved it, and it seems you guys had a nice time with it too.
8:13-19:03
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I wonder how many people will be enraged at their joke?! Hahahaha XD
I thought "walk across the heavens" was going to be a nod to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade... (yeah, the "Leap of Faith")
Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
The main protagonist has the title of Shield hero.
*She's a woman, she doesn't know up from down.*
Even I'm 17 and that still stings a bit too much on the unfriendly side.
Anyone else watching the SGB Sly playthroughs to get hyped for the upcoming movie?
I know its pretty late an silly of me to ask now, but wasn't Sabrina in this playthrough?
How come she hasn't been in it for a while?
it seems she has some college work and couldn't attend the let's play since episode 3
Wow I'm so slow, how did I not notice haha, thanks anyway
16:14
So Tsao is worse than Clockwerk and the rest of the party that killed your parents? I find that hard to believe that Sly
+thepainsight He have a point though Tsao is an asshole. Clockwerk motivated by hate to kill Cooper clan for generation while Tsao treated everything as property even the person.
Yeah, but Sly said "I've faced a lot of bad MEN in my day". Clowerk is a robo-owl, so he doesn't count ;)
+Braxxton Brookshire If over sized owl doesn't count then a walking rooster doesn't count either, they are both what you would consider men considering the lack of humans in their world.
+thepainsight well when Sly met Clockwerk he's a machine at that point sure he maybe was a normal owl but when Sly met him he's a robot now.
+kratosgow342 Sly most likely just considers Clockwerk to be a monster rather than just a machine or anything else, still doesn't mean that Tsao could be considered worse than him in Sly's perspective.
WHY DIDN'T YOU TALK ABOUT TSAO'S LINE BEFORE THE SECOND HALF
I know some other have said it, but I never understood Sly saying Tsao was the worst man he's faced. So he's a sexist, yea that makes him a dick, but what else has this guy really done? Nearly every other villain before has done worse things than him. But anyways I love his boss fight, especially the first faze. I find the best way to deal with his second faze is to spam the push attack, it can cancel his zombie hand and dragon head attacks if you hit him during the summoning animation.
+Ninja McGee Everyone knows being sexist and forcing someone into marriage makes you even worse than a mechanical bird that literally lives on HATRED.
Why does the Tsao boss fight remind me of the Neo Vs Seraph fight in the Matrix Path of Neo game?
Matt. I think you mean Kanji's weapon is between a shield and mainly a folding Chair. I honestly don't get why a folding chair.
I don't think having a folding chair is a perfect ideal weapon to kill someone.
XD I am shocked they did not have a reaction to the biggest insult ever said in the sly cooper game.
9:25 Well, we do learn Tsao has magic.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon came out in 2000
No one bringing attention to tsao's blade audio glitch? Okie, I'll just let it slip then.
Just wanted to say that Tsao is a swear word with the right tone in Mandarin.
"She's a woman, they don't know up from down"
ouch...this is a kids game right?
Yep. And that's why I love Sucker Punch. They are not afraid to get controversial.
+teeman9266 Considering that first game wasn't afraid to pull headlines in end-of-chapter news papers that can be summed up as "hot latina fox busts dangerous criminal", that's not exactly kids material
@@onekone_ there was alo kick ass on the newspaper
Sly: Your the worst.
........He's Worse than Clockwerk and Leyla?
Probably worse than neyla but not clockerk
Right as he said general Tso had his computer and the plan was doomed, my internet crashed. Huh. Timing
Now I'm hungry for chicken.
Elliot is making this look harder than it really is, no offense to his gameplay. But still pretty fun to watch
20:27
That was for Sabrina you son of a b***h!
The guru can only levitate non living things
The guru levitated the guards too if you hadn't noticed.
After hearing Tsao's "little comment on women" on my first playthrough, I was like, "...I'm gonna enjoy kicking your a** even more so now!"It was bad enough he took the laptop, but that sexist comment ticked me off! >:(
I'm surprised they didn't talk about the line about women not knowing up from down.
(If I'm wrong about the rooster, then I apologize, as I am more of a mammal person).
actually the first 2 part boss battle was against the black barron part 1. dogfight part 2. fisticuffs on hte plane
5:27
So that's what the norton anti-virus program looks like...
Elliot I don't think it particularly wise to play chicken with this chicken.
Elliot seriously, I never had any problem in this fight.
16:47 since you're in a forest, does that make it...about tree fiddycuffs?
Has anyone figure out yet that General Tsao is walking pun?
+Gat the Man i haven't, waht's the pun?
Breno Ranyere General Tso's Chicken, it's a type of food. Kinda like buffalo wings but sweeter.
+Gat the Man That's not really a pun, more of a funny coincidence.
I love this boss 👌😊
Bremoved wisdom teeth suck but bsc makes it more bearable.
matt, if i'm remembering this correctly... I thought Kanji Tatsumi used a steel chair for a weapon, not a shield.
+InfernotheFox The steel chair's his initial weapon. I believe that he uses different objects for different weapons.
okay, I only remember the steel chair from Persona 4 arena and Persona Q
I know this is their LP but I do wish they took the time to buy upgrades and utilize them (granted some of them are useless), but I mainly watch them just because of their fun commentary.
13:19 I'd laugh my ass off if Sly turned into a girl.
This is my favorite boss of the game
+Kidyungblack12 this is my favorite boss of the series
+Breno Ranyere I will admit though the general whopped my ass
Even then they are really wrong about the whole Panda King thing I love the jokes they been making about it.
I do too, but sometimes I can't help but groan when they say things that are blatently incorrect.
Good point.
OH COME ON!!! You guys talked over the worst line in the game!
so ladders dont exist in the sly universe?
The definitely do
