Not taking anything away from Luka, yes he is great but from watching this game if people actually watched it. Luka's shot selection at times is extremely unnecessary chucking those deep 3's when you can get a better shot or move the ball, Luka even air balled a 3 tonight from like 30 ft for example. Luka dominates the ball so much that he slows down any ball movement and despite him hitting some big shots here and there a lot of shots that he does miss, bad turnovers, or dribbling into defenders going nowhere instead of moving the ball it is just wasted possessions. But outside of Kyrie the Mavs have been terrible at ball rotation (mostly when Luka is on the floor) and getting the open man they failed to capitalize on so many easy buckets tonight and in the 4th quarter the ball needs to run through Kyrie!! The highlights are gonna show Luka hitting a couple forced big shots in the fourth that will make it seem like he saved the day, but during the end when the game was close and Luka slowing it down what the highlights wont show is how Kyrie, PJ Washington and Gaffer were the ones who really sealed the game.
Everyone does mistakes throughout a game and I could write a similar text about Kyrie, if I only focused on the negatives. He had actually one more turnover than Luka (f.e. he lost the handle without any pressure leading to a TO) It is about the overall performance and both of them have been great in this regard. Instead of focusing on a bad shot he might have taken, you could highlight the fact that he was 5-11 from 3, which is a decent efficiency. You say that he goes nowhere with his dribblings, but you dont understand that it is a way to draw attention from the defense and it leads to giving guys like PJ, DJJ etc. open looks more often than not. And then even excluding Luka from the guys, who sealed the deal, when he was among the people making important shots towards the end and giving the assist to Gafford f.e. (after dribbling towards the paint drawing the whole attention), which led to the 2 plus 1, shows your extreme bias.
You belong to these Kyrie fans, who argue that he is the one and in order to do so, you try so hard to discredit Luka in every possible way...it`s obvious and ridiculous. :D
