Losing by 19 was generous. On balance, we should’ve lost by 30. It changes nothing though, we can still go back to Dallas 1-1 if we show up in game 2. Mavs in 6.
I think the best way to limit the threes from this point is to get more of the long rebounds that were to be had. Contests looked good to me, it was the 2nd chances and Kyrie’s no show that kept this from being competitive.

He needs to force Boston to double up on him instead of playing 1v1 on drop coverage, if not you’re either expecting the shooters to hit miracle shots, or you’re expecting Gafford /Lively to post up or move to the perimeter.

May need to block a few of those, like the previous 2 series. At least "play the hand". About Lively's 4th & 5th fouls. Replay showed he was straight up and Brown forced contact. Challenge those. But he needs to not drape himself all over KP, imo. If Lively hedges back, enough for Green to get through the KP screen, you won't see Green defending KP at the elbow. And Hedging is not fully going under. Note that White is a great spot up 3 guy, not Soo much off the dribble 3 guy.
It's about energy, not how much you practice. As per KAT's comments from Wolves, practice doesn't help, is just how much you put into the game and handle pressure. Mavs were similar to me today as Wolves against them in game 5, but I do believe they can change that in game 2 👍
