- ENGINE SOUND IS MUTED in this video
[WHAT IS THIS ?]
This is a mod I created to make RBR's sound effects much more realistic.
Suspension, bumper, crash, and everything else has been reworked.
The sounds below were taken from BeamNG
- Suspension (from Cherrier Vivace, Rally Gravel)
- Bumper
- Collison
Co-driver voice not included.
[HOW TO INSTALL]
REPLACE all the files I attached.
To use this mod properly you must enable FMOD.
Adjust Volume whaterver you want.
(if engine sound is too loud, reduce FMOD in RSF Launcher.)
[NOTE]
These folders in Impact folder do not work in the game.
Addon, Branch, Glass, Grus, Heavy, Medium, soft, softMet, etc
(I don't know why, but this has nothing to do with my mod)
The only folders you need are Ranged and Shatter
But currently I have silenced the shatter sound source.
This is not a finished work. It will be improved and modified later.

Wow this is really cool. Thank you for releasing this.
I'm glad to hear that.
@@mngsnd I got it installed today. I love hearing the wind and road noise. It's a very pleasant mod. The crash and bump sounds are great.

@mngsnd
It was taken from BeamNG, the most realistic car simulator game out there, (I was surprised not only by the physics but also by the sound effects of this game which is very elaborate) so I guarantee it will be fairly accurate. Although rbr's sound system is very simple compared to beamng's highly complex. I recorded the sounds while causing a collision in a rally car at beamng, and selectively took the recorded sound effects and applied them to rbr. So it is only at the level of imitation, but the results are quite satisfactory to me.
@@mngsnd I was just starting to look at fmod to under stand how all that works. It's all really interesting I hope to learn enough to create my own audio for RBR one day.
I like these thumps, sounds pretty good, what do you plan on updating?

People just put fucking attention to replace the files, is not that hard,
By the way, Great work dude!
Thank you
one guy said his game doesn't start after installing this
the instructions are very far from clear
@@aleksip_rally Do not overwrite. Remove the corresponding folder.
@@mngsnd I did and it still crashes the game on startup
I have tried it as well, it doesn't seem to work by just dropping the file over the RBR install. The game doesn't open.
Simply overwriting will cause an error. Remove the existing folders and files and then Place my folders.
@@mngsnd Yep that worked thanks. I kind of like these sounds, but their levels are kind off compare to defaults. Is this intended? I had to set codriver and engine to like 30%, effects to 60%, tires to 100% and now its similar-ish to default audio levels. But yeah I am looking forward to more updates, seems kind of promising.
@@Towerbrah I think your setting the tire sound too loud.. I use effect 100%, tires 50%. codriver - depends on what you use. Also, It is desirable to reduce the Fmod engine sound. But it is never as low as 30%. I think 60% or more is probably appropriate.
