Toghtlinenation sent me here to learn about your East Coast bead making. That’s really interesting and you guys are using different colors than we do. We almost use exclusively pink and orange. Thanks for sharing!

What are some color combos that I should definitely make? And what are some clay colors that I should get?

Hi Gabriel, thanks for the question. We asked Dave and he said this: "Any colors will do, the key is to make them contrast against each other to stand out. For example, blue and red or orange and purple. Contrast is the key to make them pop instead of blend into their surroundings . It can be two colors or ten colors, just use contrast. A good start would be to try making some beads with the colors shown in the video and then you can make your personal changes from there. The sky is the limit with these things."

Very clever! Are these somewhat buoyant or do they just sink?

Hello, I tried your method of hardening the clay beads twice, but every single time the beads would melt. Do you have any suggestions to prevent the beads from melting? Thanks!

The 19 people who didn’t like this either can’t boil water or can’t catch fish at a hatchery.
