“Who eats beans in the morning” 😂 all of Central America. Get ready for some fun. Try the different ways ie casamiento in El Salvador, gallo pinto in Costa Rica . Guatemala mostly black beans. Try them inside a fried plantain empanada like finger food.

very good video but if it hasn't been mentioned already your diesel van would of been fine running on the main brand diesels out there, Shell etc would of been fine
From the research we did online, all diesel in Belize has high sulfur content, even the Shell diesel, etc.
Even in Mexico it's hit or miss and lots of people have problems, including us.

Did you ever consider just getting your engine computer remapped so you don't have to deal with any of the adblue stuff? It just overrides the settings and you will be much more "free" this way.
It’s a pretty complex system with a lot of parts and sensors nowadays. It’s not so easy to just map it out. You’d have to replace the DPF, temp sensors, catalytic converter, etc. It’s not part of the exhaust under the car anymore, it’s bolted directly to the engine.
You also wouldn’t get through the technical inspection anymore.
Change the water in your drinking whater tabk and clean it.... replace it more often then you would in non humid countries. That is the problem. Water goes bad so fast there...
For the coffee you mean? We always use bottled water nowadays! Because we can't find drinking water for our fresh water tank as easily in Central America. It seems EVERYTHING goes bad faster in the heat ;D
Did your Starlink work in Belize?
It did! To our surprise :) we got it in Mexico and we weren't sure how the regions are defined / if it would still work under the usual 70 usd a month plan once we left Mexico or if they'd charge us the higher out-of-region rate. But so far it's still working! :)
I have always wanted to go to Belize, never thought about Guatemala, and now am curious to see El Salvador.

Nope, you can go snorkelling with nurse sharks in Caye Caulker but they feed them which we don't really like :)

So true! In Cabo San Lucas you can get a fish massage but it costs like 30 bucks or something. This one was on nature ;)

The two countries are very different and Costa Rica is very amazing too
@NaickKim I don't disagree... I have been there. But honestly, Nicaragua 🇳🇮 is definitely more cost-effective for similar forests. Don't forget Nicoya was Nicaraguan territory at one point in history.
