- Going on this ECOADVENTURE at AGUINID FALLS was not only an absolute blast but we walked away with one of the best memories we've ever had!! I mean, we were SCALING 8 WATERFALLS afterall!
Aguinid Falls is located in Somboan, Cebu which is relatively close to Oslob and a short 1 hour bike ride from Moalboal. The falls, which there are 8 😱, are such a short distance from the road where you pull in that you'll be super surprised. Don't worry about having to hike far distances to the first waterfall or even the distance between the remaining 7 waterfalls...they are very very close to each other!!
And don't think you're going to be hiking around the waterfalls, oh no. You will in fact be scaling right in the middle of them 👀. It's such a fun experience and you'll walk away wanting to do it again and again!

Jose and I won’t be the ones carrying the equipment 😂 it would all end up in the coral if I were tasked with that! Snorkeling looks like so much fun but I’m also terrified of open water. Like, I love sitting by the water and staring at it and soaking up the calm but past my knees and I see sharks and stingrays and jelly fish and lions and tigers and bears oh my … everywhere! I suggest to visit some of the few places for you to explore; go to Boracay, Romblon, Palawan, Camiguin, Calaguas for awesome beaches (each have their own distinct features). If you want to experience the country's colder areas, visit the mountains of Baguio, Sagada, Banaue & Buscalan (where you will see the legendary & traditional tattoo artist Whang-Od, rice terraces, hanging coffins, burial caves & more)

Been going to Moalboal on my off days during my college in Cebu 30 years ago. You guys are lucky to experience the falls, I have not had a chance to do it while I was there. I’m US based now, planning to visit the Aguinid Falls someday. Thanks for sharing. Glad that the Philippines is open to visitors now.
