Dude, I had an interview where I had to pretend teach a class for a tutoring company but it was for 20 minutes straight, so I can relate to that awkwardness of talking to yourself and acting like students are talking back to you lmao

I am a tutor myself and I truly agree. I tutor subjects that I have most passionate about and very good at them. Not necessarily the top scorer at school, but I have passion and knowledge towards the subjects.

i just graduated hs and got into uni of manchester and will be starting this september and chloe omg! you and shaurya have been my peer mentors over youtube and you guys have 0 idea how much influence you have on my life. i started tutoring one week ago and as of now i am making $124 a month w 4 students and surprisingly i am good at it and this just came in at the right time! i love tutoring indian students for english and it’s working out well for me. hopefully in 3 years i’ll be able to make this into a good side hustle and soon start w youtube too. you are such a gem ❤️ ily and thank you so much for all the content that you make!! you’re an inspiration ❤️

Hi, I would like to remind viewers that this is not accessible to everyone and that if you don't succeed in this, it doesn't mean you're responsible for being less wealthy. She grew up in an upper-middle-class family that encouraged her into entrepreneurship, and offered her access to high-level education, and she is now teaching upper-middle-class and rich kids. So if you don't succeed in this as she did, don't feel bad. She has a helpful background and you might not have had it. There's a reason why so few people end up succeeding like her, and it's not a lack of will. Nonetheless, this is extremely helpful content and I'm sure many people are very grateful for this video and will make great use of it. My message is just for those who might watch this and feel responsible about their lack of wealth. Many people tutor lower-middle-class kids and make much less money out of it: that doesn't mean they're worth less or that their work isn't as great :)
I grew up in a working class family with no role models for entrepreneurship of taking an interest in life-long learning and am a first generation university graduate. Knowledge is accessible in libraries and online. As is education in entrepreneurship. It may take some people with less advantageous backgrounds longer but don't affirm the narrative of 'I am underprivileged.' It may be so but 100 hours of dedicated study of a niche subject can change one's course of opportunities.

Thanks. Me, personally, as a professional writer, it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to write ONE single-spaced page (sometimes I do get it down to an hour) so, I find your comments re time frames fascinating. Otherwise, I guess I’ll try to figure out how to get myself into a chat room🙂.
i can teach any subject that i can learn fast enough to keep ahead of the student. I remember asking my Chinese , Japanese and Arabic language teachers if they would suggest me trying to teach their language to others. They said you can teach anything as long as you understand the basic of the subject. If i am teaching a language than all the is really need is to understand pronunciation and grammer. Vocabulary is something that can easily be picked up from google translate. Using Portuguese or Spanish as an Example. When i started out learning them i would type the entire sentence into the translator when i would write to other people. Now when i use a translator i simply type in the word I need and then insert it into the sentence . This how i learn other languages. I learn how to ask basic question i will need throughout the day and then learn nouns and verbs to express it. If i am going to the market to buy eggs in Cambodia.I will say Khynom travkar If i see a hot girl that I want to take out for lunch. I will say Sosidey srey sart. Neak chaulchett nom avei?

not related to the video, but let me tell you, you are such an inspiration to me! I may not be into tutoring but I was able to reflect and do something useful and fruitful as a 19 yr old. A lot of things like internship, tutoring and entrepreneurship that you’ve been sharing into this channel when you are a college student as I am help me think that I should be doing something too and get out of my comfort zone. soooo for me like tutoring is sorta something that i have never really looked into, but your videos really inspire me to actually start looking into it, your always so full of energy and exitement that it almost is like a beam of sunlight that sorta just jumps right thorugh the screen. ugh, that sounded really cheesy and weird, lol. anyways, you're videos are so informative and simple(yet detailed, somehow) and because my brain is rambling on i'm just going to end on 'Keep up the awesome videos!'

i can teach any subject that i can learn fast enough to keep ahead of the student. I remember asking my Chinese , Japanese and Arabic language teachers if they would suggest me trying to teach their language to others. They said you can teach anything as long as you understand the basic of the subject. If i am teaching a language than all the is really need is to understand pronunciation and grammer. Vocabulary is something that can easily be picked up from google translate. Using Portuguese or Spanish as an Example. When i started out learning them i would type the entire sentence into the translator when i would write to other people. Now when i use a translator i simply type in the word I need and then insert it into the sentence . This how i learn other languages. I learn how to ask basic question i will need throughout the day and then learn nouns and verbs to express it. If i am going to the market to buy eggs in Cambodia.I will say Khynom travkar If i see a hot girl that I want to take out for lunch. I will say Sosidey srey sart. Neak chaulchett nom avei?
