I’m surprised how you talked purely about the important stuff, with no waffle or long intros (no intro at all, actually). Straight to the point, with time stamps, good quality video and sound. You’re a professional in all categories!
You sound extremely hard-working, intelligent, and level headed. It's quite refreshing to see someone who actually tells it like it is amongst all the hustle/grind nonsense. . I hope more young people see this so they don't fall prey to the "easy money online" schemes out there.
No money is easy, but you can get rich quick. Read some books, and not talking about mainstream books or media that teach you go to university be a doctor and invest in real estate. Or get a good job and invest in stocks for 40 years and if you are lucky you will be « millionaire » before your heart attack, at 65 years old. There’s no easy money but that doesn’t mean there is no other way than being part of the masses. The masses are sold crypto, dropshipping etc. No one teaches you that you spend your money wrong and all you do since you are kid is just a hyper reality, a script that just is go to school get a degree get a job work till you die
It depends on how you’re brought up and how focused you are on expanding your vocabulary. Growing up, my father emphasized the importance of having an extensive vocabulary and I was always interested in writing. So now, at 18, I get complimented on my writing skills and language. The easiest way to expand your vocabulary (the way my dad taught me) is reading articles, then researching and studying words I’m not familiar with. As well as practicing using them in different scenarios. Another way is following the word of the day.

im glad it helped a tiny bit!! I didn't mention this in this video (i cut it out last minute) but putting these few hours a week towards teaching younger kids also stabilized my rocky anxiety/chronic depression (esp towards the end of high school) and also kind of forced me to reckon with my chronic insomnia -- bc i had to wake up early to teach them kiddies... but i just wanted to convey that stable income isn't always quick/fast and that small steps can be fun and helpful (and sometimes lucrative hehe)
As someone who has an education degree, its really cool to see you naturally learning different methods that help students grow like integrating different levels in groups to help the students support each other's strengths and weaknesses.
@@ye23. it can be. Asians, especially Chinese, value education extremely high. So they’re willing to pay to learn, but of course they’re looking for top tier tutors. They’re not seeking idiots who can’t teach who didn’t get straight A’s through school.

teaching was the thing i never would have thought could be a thing for me. I took accounting and business management in senior highschool then proceeded to Financial Management in college thinking that I'd either be an accountant or a businesswoman someday. My need to support my fees and all brought me to where I'm at now and, genuinely, I'm so glad that I learned this coz not only was I able to stretch myself out but it also served as a channel of many more opportunities to grow and have fun at the same time. Edited: i didn't expect to get 300+ likes overnight! thank you peeps ❤️ keep on grinding! stop chasing passive income coz swear once you've learned to discipline yourselves everything will follow 😉
Well explained. Thanks for bringing up the videos financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.
You are amazing! You not only teach kids but you “graduate” kids. I think you are more like a mentor than a tutor. You teach them methodology too. That’s so valuable, something they can use for the rest of their life.
Chloe, you are an amazing role model for kids in your generation. I am a 34 years and am thoroughly impressed with how you present and articulate yourself. No way I was this articulate when I was 20. Your work ethic and attitude is inspiring. My best to you from the Philippines.
I'm your age too and I just left a comment saying how proud I am of her. As someone who is thinking if it's worth being a mom these days, it gives me hope. My life is pretty damn good right now and I don't want to be sucked into the thought of raising a family because children are so cute. I really do worry about bringing up a capable and smart human being. I really don't want to be those mums who have such a hard time because their kids are just trouble makers. I don't want it. But this girl gives me hope. So intelligent and articulate and I'm with you, I wish I was as resourceful and articulate as this girl.
Usually I avoid videos like these because they tend to make me feel 'failed' in some way. Seeing someone who figured out their strength and use it to help others and make money in the process. I still haven't figured it out and trying the thing people tell me I'm good at scares me. I keeo thinking, there are so many better people out there why would they chose my art! But she has such an amazing energy over her it actually made me feel motivated to try! ☺️
I love online tutoring because you get to work your own schedule and you just teach stuff you already know. I started tutoring during the pandemic and not only is it great side income, but it's also really fun and doesn't feel like work if you don't do it full time.
Having a specializes skillet from a young age will allow you to make more money and have a career earlier than most. If you just started learning a skillet at 18 then you'll be behind
Wow this young generation! Yesterday I was watching a video of a 14year old entrepreneur who retired his family,! Why did I waste my younger years, even at my age I'm still not where you guys are. So inspired! Definitely no longer wasting opportunities anymore! Recently got into crypto, love it, still lots to learn
@@taquito.trasgo how I got into it, I'm not actually sure. Then I started looking for or got recommended yt channels. Coin bureau and crypto banter are really good.
I wouldn't recommend teaching as a full-time job either because you put so much effort and energy into being a good teacher, and sometimes people just don't appreciate it

Creating wealth requires cultivating positive habits, such as consistently saving money at regular intervals for worthwhile investments. Managing finances is an essential subject that many people often avoid, which can lead to challenges later on. I hope that anyone who comes across this message achieves great success in life.
Investing in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should definitely be a top priority for everyone right now, especially with the ongoing global economic crisis. Stocks, gold, silver, and virtual currencies remain appealing investment options at this time.

Having an investment advisor is the best way to go. Based on a direct encounter with my CFA, Benjamin Todd Glenn, I can say with certainty that his skills are excellent. He helped raise over 580k in 14 months from an initially stagnant portfolio of $70,000
As a high school senior from Guangzhou, I feel so related that the college agencies here are so lucrative yet the rich kids’ (even middle-class kids’) parents are willing to pay for that insane amount of money getting sometimes not much service at all.
@@asynchloe to be honest, feels like this is mainly due to the asymmetry of information and also the impressive stats that these agencies tell the parents. What's worse is when you see kids who clearly are not motivated in class and just waste their parents' money away :(((( siGH. and also these agencies don't even pay teachers that much, in the agency I'm in they only give teachers a 20% cut........ but I don't have a choice since I don't have existing networks for tutoring in China.

Straight up facts, with calculations and life background.... perfect video. I wish every "how I make money as a student" video was like that. Thank you so much for that Chloe
I would love to hear about investments!! I’m super interested in it but don’t know a lot about it:)
Her:You don't have to popular on social media.
Me: YES!
Her: Starts basically saying I need to have a solid IQ and really smart
Me: I'm sorry, lesson plans and review their essays and grades? 😨
She looks like someone who is capable. She just looks like she has her life together. The girl has a waiting list like an IVY LEAGUE COLLEGE!
;-; you're too sweet ahhh -- also I know it looks like I have my life together but i feel so lost sometimes ;-; esp when compared to some amazing peers I have -- so thank you so much for this comment!! it made me smile :))
@@asynchloe your peers are beeter than that 🙄? Okay ,well, seems like we should level up !
Yeah unless you are a solid honors student you really don't qualify to tutor in anything.
@@anh7807 even honors kids maybe can't if they're like me, who has probably forgotten everything they ever learned in high school. I really don't feel like I've revisited much content during college so far.
@@TheApplianceDirect yeah, high school teaches the bare basics. Very few people are qualified to tutor at all if they stopped at high school. I meant more of a college honors student.
You: Start talking right away.
Me: Subscribe.
Its good to finally know that i'm not alone in this tutoring journey. I started tutoring at the age of 11, basically to my neighbours and things started to grow from there. So every summer break, i would have a list of people in queue waiting for my answers on whether they'll be accepted to the tutoring session. However i did not do it 'full time' like you (only tutor during summer break). Now im 22, with almost 11 years experience in tutoring and i've gained so much experience throughout the years. Now i do it kinda like part time (on weekends). The amouny of people that was shocked when they knew that i tutor were unbelivable. Goodluck to everyone who wishes to start tutoring. Its not easy at first but as time passed, you'll learn what works for you and your students❤
You are a great role model for today's youth. Informative videos like this should trend more.
♡ thank you so much for your kind words!! I hope so hehe
When you invest, you're buying a day you don't have to work
@Hart Thim You're right Sir, it's obvious a lot of people remain poor due to ignorance, it's better to take risks and make sacrifices than to remain poor
Bitcoin is the most profitable investment online of only you trade with the help of a professional expert
I recently got into forex trading and im already marveling over the profits I'm making, I'm like " how the hell have i been sleeping on this
Most people venture into crypto currency to be a millionaire meanwhile I just want to be debt free and live comfortably
investing in crypto currency (Bitcoin) is the most profitable investment due to its current rise, huge profits and future benefits.
"I also didn't end up keeping the part where I talk about my savings / investments and my overall strategy for that in this video (didn't think it was super relevant)" Yes, PLEASE do a video! You re-ignited my motivation to take becoming a tutor for a subject seriously. I always though it was a good flow of second income--and your life seems nicely planned, I'd love to hear tips and advice integrating that into my own life! 🧡
It can be rare to find young students who are this proactive about improving their lives and setting themselves up for a great future. Thank you for sharing Chloe!
I was really excited, at the start of this video, to make some money as a broke student but considering I can barely keep up with my own studies, I doubt I could tutor hahahaha
Same plus I am bad at teaching and explaining😫
@@yoonwathanoo7075 you're not alone!
