Brilliant Roger. But what a coincidence - 2 Mini drivers from Bognor; Roger Holden Stock Rod 323 and Roger Homer Hot Rod 525. Very similar names and numbers eh?
Hazel Brooks yes I remember your name but not sure why some one used to talk about you it was a long time ago and I'm thinking it may have been John Davidson I mite be wrong ??
Hi Roger, I think you may have the wrong end of the stick old son. There`s no way you would "remember" me as I have only been Hazel Brooks for the last 13 or 14 years (far too long a story for here). What I was pointing out was the similarity between your Name and race number and that of another Mini driver I used to follow who also lived in Bognor. I used to watch him and cheer him on at Wimbledon back in the early 70s, he was pretty good. He lives in the USA now and races senior karts!!
Hazel Brooks hi right ok yes I have I do remember him I think he lived on the Chichester road in Bognor I have a mate I'm sure he knows him my dad use to take me to Wimbledon in the 70s I guess that where it all started for me have you ever seen Melcolm borman
Sorry pressed the wrong thing Mel raced a mini stock rod at Wimbledon 80s 90s he was fast star diver well the three win I had at that meeting at ringwood I had his engine in my car he went over to hot rods
I never saw him as I was married and doing other daft things by then. My interest was re-kindled a few years back albeit in the retro sense and I`m always on here digging out the past.
