Lo we use Kenra professional at the salon. What is the base color of A series? I did a color the other day . We do not have NUA so I used equal parts 5A and 6N. She is 100% grey. I covered but it did not cancelled the yellow completely. She was happy .Her concerned is just to have her white/ grey hair covered. Any input that you could share is greatly appreciated.
Hi Lolita! The Ash (A) Series is formulated to neutralize underlying pigment. At a level 5, the neutralizing base is blue. For maximum gray coverage using Kenra Color permanent shades, the Natural series should be incorporated into all gray coverage formulations for 100% gray coverage. We also recommend mixing ratio is one-part color to one-part 20 Volume Developer (1:1) and processing a full 40 minutes. The NUA shades would be ideal if your client wants maximum coolness and gray coverage.
Make sure you are measuring your product accurately! At a 1:2 mixing ratio, the lightener will be thick enough to hand paint with ease. If your mixing ratio is a thinner consistency, you may be subject to hot spots.
Hello! You can use this lightener in foil and balayage applications. Find more info here :) www.kenraprofessional.com/product/simply-blonde-blue-powder-lightener-1
You could! It's all in the lightener you choose and the levels of lift at that point. Simply Blonde Blue Powder Lightener or Beyond Bond Lightener would be a great options for heavy lifting!

You should use a 20 volume developer to cover grey

How are you able to lay the hair with lightener on top of hair that isn’t being processed without any spotting or bleeding?

Are you using a toner after the color?
Hi there! Yes, Lo used Kenra Color 8NA Demi + 9vol as a shadow root and applied 10N Demi + 9vol all over as the toner. Thanks for watching!
I have seen people use the 8NA on roots that are naturally a level 4-5. How does that work?
With 40vol, you can achieve 3-4 levels of lift on virgin hair!
What volume developer did you use throughout her hair ??😁
Great question! She used Simply Blonde Blue Powder Lightener + 30Vol Developer ☺️
You see the full formula recap at 6:36 ☺️
