Easy Pecan Pie Recipe make you some
INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 CUP PECANS HALFS OR CHOPPED
1 CUP CLEAR KAYRO SYRUP
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 TBLS MELTED BUTTER
1/2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1/2 TSP MAPLE EXTRACT
3 EGGS
1 PINCH SALT
2 TBLS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

Pecan pie was my mother's favorite. As a kid I didn't like anything with nuts in it, lol, now I love nuts in everything 🙃. Pecan pie is a favorite now.

Just made one yesterday from pecans we have picked up from my own trees this year!! I wish I could post pics.. I used my 101 year old grandmother’s recipe!

My Grandmother cooked.. I mean was she was a grandmother's grandma.. Bless her soul... and I know I first ate pecan pie from her. I love it. I have a sweet tooth anyway. :)) Wait, Miss Gina Young eats cake batter?!?! I thought I was the only one. I mean, I would have to add extra water/oil, since I would keep dipping that spoon in there. Lord I love cake batter. :))

This is my story. I was pretty much done with my holiday cooking and then found out my sister was coming to visit. I had leftover pecans from some Sandy's I had made for Xmas and thought I'd give a pecan pie a try. I'm so happy I stumbled onto your recipe 'cause it was not only easy to make but tasted sooo good! My pecan pie is almost identical to yours. I am from the south (Georgia) and we say pe CAN. I love your prayer before you eat, it brings joy to my heart and so do you!! Thank you so much for the receipts you share with us!!

Thank you for the tips about using deep dish crusts, flour in the filling and not pre-baking the crust. Deep dish crusts are the only ones I have in the freezer. I will make this pie tomorrow (12.28.20) for sure! Update will follow!

We mis our family so much. Have not see them since last year August.
Only our granddaughter came Christmas eve day to bring us something. And we can give her something.She was only allowed on the deck by front door. I miss her so much We want to hug her.
Its pretty lonely all the time with my husband and me.
Because I have copd its ridiculous.
We both are 67 year and my husband worked so hard for 50 years. Now retired. We love every minut of it. But he like to have the kids here and our granddaughter.
Next week she will be 23years we rased her. Till she was 9years old.

No family, Gina, 97% of my family are spread out in various other states, but I like the kitchen, gonna watch some movies, football, make chocolate chips cookies but I too, am a fan of pecan pie, looking like a million dollars, Gina, getting that early holiday spirit, I see, Walmart was blasting Xmas music last Saturday, it was only 9am

Never made pecan pie before... I'll be making this tonight.
It will definitely be different this year for Christmas. It will be with my children and grandkids. I know I’m lucky for that . But we as French Canadian we usually have aunt’s uncles nieces and nephews over , but not this year . We must remember this will pass, and things will get better.
