Thanks. I’m going to take off my bright red cylinder head covers and replace with black covers. Do I have to take out spark plug to remove head cover? Thanks.
I'd say stick with the same type of spark plugs. Forget iridium. Italian machines don't particularly love aftermarket or different types of ignition components. Also, depending on how hot or cold the plugs that you're using, considering how lean they run for emissions, you could actually damage the engine. My advise to you is....stick with OEM, forget the fancy stuff.
