    This is a great alternative, although the best sounding G8x I’ve heard is SSR downpipe with Valvetronic exhaust. There’s some videos on here if you’re curious. Honestly sounds amazing!

    This sounds really good and very cost effective. I've read it wont throw a CEL since there's no sensors where the secondary's are. But a concern is getting the car serviced will they void the warranty.
    How is the cabin noise?

    • @ZaysGarage
      @ZaysGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This honestly depends on your dealer, but being honest most dealers will not dock you for this. They understand it is a performance car and that people want to extract more from. I'd suggest just checking with them first.

    I said the same exact thing about the G80 M3s exhaust when I first heard it..then I did a bit of research and found out why they are so muffled from factory. If you take a look at the EU’s emissions they keep getting more and more aggressive on high performance cars. Also too with the newer RS3 coming out it has the same exact problem. It sounds so muffled and restricted.

    • @ZaysGarage
      @ZaysGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on where you are, you should not have a problem. This is not much worse than stock. The main catalytic converters are still on the vehicle. If you mod your exhaust with an aftermarket solution you will lose the secondary cats. The restrict sound so most companies do not keep them in their designs.

    • @ZaysGarage
      @ZaysGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there my man! I think the option that would give you the most sound would be to simply delete the first resonator. I believe the secondary resonator is not a silencer of any kind and is an H-pipe that will help preserve the deeper exhaust note. Hope that helps!

    Hey Zay, appreciate the video. I am gonna do this on my G82 M4, but just wanted a little bit more sound than stock. So you think it would still sound good to just remove 1 resonator? Do you know of any problems of just removing one? Thanks man

    • @ZaysGarage
      @ZaysGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So if you’re going to remove anything I’d just remove the secondary catalytic converters. That will probably give you most sound with out adding too much rasp to the exhaust. You can remove the first resonator, but it might not be that much of a sound improvement. Shouldn’t be a problem no matter which route you choose. Hope that helps!

    • @Okzander
      @Okzander 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
