    I just got an M4, and I think this is great value for the money… A complete new system from downpipe to tips could be upwards of $8k. That’s a serious investment especially if you’re coming from outside of the euro car market. Thank you for the video! Great car!

    Sounds good! U hit the nail on the head when u said that’s how it should sound coming from BMW!! I did Supersprint J midpipe and valve controller on mine and it sounds really good too!

    Happy New Year, Sai. It does sound better, but, and maybe it's cause I'm old, I'd want the valves to be able to quiet it down a little at times.

    AWE Track. Sounds great on my M4 Comp--left only the rear resonators, straight pipe from there. You can do what you did as well--remove both resonators, but I liked keeping one as it does cut down on drone a bit. Love the sound! $2000 and worth it! I have the crome tips, but you can also get black. My M4 is black, so a little chrome out back is a nice contrast.

    Happy New Year, Sai. I really like this mod over others as it is reversible. May I know in which shop you got that done? I live in Morrisville too. I wanna do the same for my M3 Comp. Thanks

    I noticed you said valves permanently open and showed ur valve control. When you do this mod and delete the resonator and add the H-pip do you loose the ability to manual turn off or on the valves through the button ?

    I about to add a full catback valvetronic exhaust with el midpipe after my 1200 mile service. Excited to hear something more than the current stock

    I was back and forth on this before installing my full catback valvetronic exhaust but you convinced me definitely going to do it haha. Wait till you add an intake though, i got the Dinan cold air intake and the whooshing sounds insane.

    Hi Sai. I also got an M4 couple months ago. Can you please answer the same question that some others are asking?
    Can you share the parts you used? And share a picture of the bottom of the car? I opened the flaps after watching your previous video and now want to do this too. Also, someone in the comments said that it is reversible? can you explain that as well? Thanks!

    • @HeySaiY
      @HeySaiY  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I didn’t use any parts myself. Exhaust shops have pipes available that they’ll cut and weld onto your existing exhaust. To reverse the change, you can just take back the resonators the shop cuts out and they’ll weld it back on for you.
      I wasn’t able to get a picture of the bottom of the car, but you’ll find some if you search on Google!

  • @carbonm2
    @carbonm2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You are a wild one lol. You know they make a controller than you can have 100% open or closed, by remote. I would recommend that for you as to not cringe on cold starts at home.
    Myself I'm only doing AA EL for exhaust until I do single turbo.

    • @HeySaiY
      @HeySaiY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, I considered the valve controllers but I saw a high failure rate from a good number of them.
      What if I like a loud cold start? 😂 I just lightly press the throttle during cold starts to bump the RPMs by 100-200 which eliminates the brutal noise haha

    • @carbonm2
      @carbonm2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HeySaiY ahhh ok I didn't know about the failures, hey actually you can code out the cold start so that's a thing to lol. After doing a loud and louder set up on my daily, I am def going for a more quiet experience since I live in an apt lol

    I really like the stock sound better… the bigger the engine the deeper the sound but it always seems quieter to me.
    It definitely sounds like an 8-cyl though

    Hello! What do you mean fake speaker noises? Do they actually play sound when we push the pedal? I have the same car and didn't realize that. But I am very frustrated of the sound. I got this car after a M850i V6 so you can imagine the difference. I was thinking about an Akrapovic exhaust system but I cannot justify the cost. Great video btw. Thank you so much!

    • @HeySaiY
      @HeySaiY  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah BMW pumps in extra sound through the speakers to augment the exhaust. If you search for “BMW ASD”, you should be able to see how it works
