    I’m from the mountain states, and found the exact f80 spec (almost) I wanted, low miles in Arkansas. Wanted white, got a metallic dark gray… it’s grown on me. The previous owner took incredible care of it. I’ve never been happier with a car. It’s an absolute gem. Great video.

    Taking delivery of a Yas Marina Blue M4 Comp package with a manual transmission tomorrow! The only thing off your list where I may have dropped the ball is the PPI, the car was in Texas and I hired the first company I found on google in that area. I bought the car without ever seeing it, but photos and the PPI made it look good. Guess Ill have to find out tomorrow!

    I'm not too keen on your mileage concerns.
    40-50k miles on a car is like 3 years of driving to me. That's pretty new...
    10-12 oil changes? That's really nothing lol.

    • @ZaysGarage

    Rule #1 for buying your dream car, do not by a car in Florida. Their laws make it very very easy to re-title even dangerously unsafe salvage nightmares so they will show a clean carfax.

  • @itshappening100
    @itshappening100 ปีที่แล้ว

    You say it's bargain and then complain about paint? Dude, every black car that is used has scratches under a light. Detailing costs $500 and it will be like new.
    Congrats on your M3.
    And honestly manual would be trash, it needs auto, and M3 CS is only auto for a reason.

    In '18 I found what I wanted, a '11 e90 M3 in Interlagos Blue, black interior, sunroof and JUMPED to get it without seeing it in person. I put my trust in a broker who fu*ked me! Never again! After owning it for 5 years and still dealing with the issues that the broker neglected to address I sold it. Perhaps if would have got it without the issues I would still own it. Having it for 5 years and having 5 years of problems that I didn't anticipate it wore on me and soured me. Next time...I will take my time and insist on seeing the car in person and taking it on a PPI.

  • @ScienceBitch123
    @ScienceBitch123 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Couple points here.
    1) If you're buying the car for resale, don't bother buying it. Buy what you like. If you're going to put 20k miles a year on your car, don't spend 8k more to get a 10k Mike car over a 25k mile car cuz either way in a yeart won't have that resale value.
    2) ANY dealership will sell you a car with body work done and not tell you about it, whether CPO or not. Dealerships have shady salespeople, bottom line every time. Carfax is usually clean on newer cars because people would rather spend 2k in a body shop than have insurance go up and take go down from a parking lot incident. Your best bet is to find a private seller. It's harder to do, but they are less likely to lie to you about issues and now likely to actually know about issues since they owned the car, not a trade in from a dealer that never drove it.

    • @ZaysGarage
      @ZaysGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those are definitely good points. If you plan to keep cars for a long time I think it is definitely important to buy what you want. However, I have subscribed to the whole "Exotic Car Hacking" trend. Where you buy a car drive it for a bit (maybe a year) and then sell it before you lose any real money. However, someday I do plan to keep a car for a long time just haven't found the right vehicle yet. In regards to your second point you couldn't be more spot on. Carfax are garbage and don't tell you anything. Next time I will definitely either have a sharp detailer or bodyshop take a look at it. It takes so much longer but the time is worth it. Thanks for watching the video!
