The creator actually was like “oh shit” when he realized his show idea was already done in that Adventure Time episode so he contacted them to say he was not intentionally ripping them off and they gave him the go-ahead and encouraged him to make his show with the premise.
I think infinity train was done or almost done by the time the train episode of adventure time came out but they pushed the show back so that no one would think it was stolen or something
Usually children shows (then again I shouldn't call Infinity train a children show after season 3) tend to avoid subjects like divorce, or handle it poorly. But Infinity train handles divorce realistically and with respect.
Yeah i dont know why children have to deal with divorce i hate those movies where the child manipulates the parents to get back together. Think the parent trap. Thats a way more messed up message than just accepting your parents divorce.

There are very few shows that I could call perfect, but infinity train is one of those shows. I can not express how truly amazing and creative this show is. It has one of the best executions of a show and concept I've ever seen. I really hope this show gets the full eight total seasons they're wanting.

Which, I can see why they might think that, but given the positive reception towards the show I wish they would just drop the veneer of this being a kids' show and move on to season 4. I mean, it worked for Samurai Jack, didn't it?

About Beware the Batman, that show WAS meant to have actual guns, but due to the 2012 Aurora theater shootings, WB overcorrected in response and ordered last-minute censorship. Did you know that the first three seasons of Infinity Train put together are only an hour and a half longer than the amount of time it takes to watch the Snyder Cut of Justice League? Just putting that out there for people with HBO Max.
I did really love the little epilogue scene with Tulip in her new life and just briefly she walks in front of a mirror and doesn't have a reflection. It was brilliant because not only did it foreshadow season 2 but also made it very clear that the train is 100% real with the ability to control reality and not some kind of shared hallucination or matrix style simulation.

Only thing I would've changed in season 1 is when One-One merges with the train and his two lights blink on he should've just uttered "Stop." and we cut to an outside view of the train as it slams on the brakes and sparks fly everywhere as the whole infinite train of infinite mass (unstoppable force) grinds to a halt, before we cut back to everyone inside comically falling over from having adjusted their balance to the movement of the train. Would've gone down in cartoon history. But still, 99/100 great show. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY CANCELLED IT???????? When season 2 came out it was #1 trending on Twitter for the whole damn week!!!!
In ep 2 One-One doesnt specifically say she'll die. He says she'll be "Gone Forever" In a way, he's not actually lying. When the number hits 0 they get there exit. Therefore when they leave they'll be gone forever
The thing that got me introduced from infinity and is both the reason why I love it, is because of the nuance. I saw the clip with the police man talking about life to the reflection girl (just watched S1) and this is literally the show I was searching for. The topics, the nuance, the mystery, the story, the characters and the whole world of this Show is so perfectly balanced. I am really curious about the rest, this feels like a cartoon with writing as a masterpiece *because* it doesn’t only entertain us, but teaches us life. Shows that can do, need to be appreciated, especially for children. Learning from life is not about choosing sides, but accepting different truths. I can tell this show can do that from the media itself to S2E2 and, of course, from the internet. I am definitely getting curious about the background of this show, if S5 is actually coming and what kind of creators there are for to show us this show. Even though I don’t want to binge this show, I am very excited for season 2, 3 and 4!
Every episode fills me with awe at how creative the set up is. Like you can have anything on here, anything, and it works. I'm just waiting for the next funny car to backround this amazing story.
To be honest, if Infinity Train had ended after seasons one or two, I would've been fine with it. Sure, there were some loose ends at the end of both seasons, but the main story wrapped up pretty cleanly both times. Season three on the other hand left me with all sorts of unanswered questions about the future of Grace and Apex.
Truer words have never been spoken because this is the best cartoon cn has has for years. That divorce scene was so impactful to me just because it frames it so realistically
It's interesting that One One was totally cool with fucking up the turtle car and potentially killing some of the turtles for his own goals, obviously he didn't create the turtle denizens since it was Amelia who kept accidentally doing that, but combined with what we know about One back before being usurped by Amelia caused his personality to split, he doesn't seem to have a very high opinion on life, either of the denizens or the passengers. Plus, fucking up the lives of denizens just so you can feel okay is the exact same thing Apex was doing.
