My goodness. What a treat this week has been for this 76 year old lady! I had my 6 & 9 year old grandchildren watch it with me. I needed to explain the story but they were fascinated by the dancing. They already love “Joseph” and know the words. They’ve seen parts of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. They are lifetime fans of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
She is the gold standard by which to judge the rest. Even performing on stage outside of the full show sans Grizabella costume she still embodies the character.
What does age have to do with it? Once you are blessed with a voice of magnitude in singing, it remains with you for a LIFETIME!! Kudos Ms. Paige!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats so much, I have, T.S.Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and the VHS-DVD of the first Cats and the four Snow Globes of Cats and then in April-20-2005 at the Pechanga Theatre in Temecula,Calif.I had the privilege with my family of seeing one of the touring performances of Cats, It was a surprise because there was some characters and songs from the first Cats and then there were new characters from T.S.Eliot and new songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Wow! I love this performance by Elaine Paige she sang memories just as if it was the first time she sang it, So beautifully done and she looks so beautiful. Her performance made me want to cry. Thank you Andrew Lloyd Webber for bringing T.S. Eliot's cats to life.
