- Once again, It's my pleasure to showcase another obscure character belonging to Type-Moon's vast library of works, as I once again share a certain master from a Fate that for once, has yet to see the light of day.
Let us all take a look at the serious, damaged character of Ayaka Sajyou, and why I myself have such a personal connection to her.

I can relate with feeling inferior while trying to stick around people who were popular, cool and getting better grades. I was below average for a good while and just wanted to feel included and even ignored my parents telling me that being around such bad people wasn't good for me. I eventually agreed and years later found people who accept and care for me without having to compare or "be on their level".
So, as someone who has loved what little Fate/Prototype material there is since.... jeez, around 2014? I was so happy to see someone else big into Type-Moon become super into it too! Unfortunately, I still lack accurate resources to learn more about Prototype, so please, Manpig, continue to share all your love and knowledge about Ayaka and the other wonderful characters of Prototype with the world!! Thank you so much for this video and I look forward to more! 💙
I recommend acquiring the old Carnival Phantasm Blu-Ray box set - the brick of a set that has Fate/Prototype and Melty Blood as well as several art booklets included as bonuses. There may be some untranslated hints dropped by Nasu, for example about the real-life inspiration for the Garden setting.
I hope everyone enjoyed this video as I really put my heart and passion into it. I'm very proud of it, and I gained quite a bit on my own while writing this script, specifically a love and kinship with one amazing character. Thanks to everyone who watched it and shared their emotions during premiere, it means a lot, really.
Most of all, thank YOU Ayaka, for once again proving that people can always get up no matter how bad they're put down. You are an inspiration.

In no small part because of proto-gil is speculated by many to another point in his life
Since we already have:
Kid gil- needs no explanation
Proto-gil- king gil before he met enkidu
OG-gil- the king that already lost enkidu but hasn't traveled to tye underworld yet
Caster gil- the wise king that accepted his own flaws after his trip to the underworld

Thank you so, so, so much! Ayaka’s my favorite Nasuverse character. I’m sad that she hasn’t gotten enough recognition /: Hopefully someday she’ll be in FGO as a demiservant and be reunited with Arthur.

I’ve been shilling Prototype for years now so it’s great to see someone else doing it too. It needs more attention as a concept even if I highly doubt it will ever be properly finished.
You did make one goof though. The fight with Proto Gil happens AFTER the fight with Sancraid and Berserker. Ayaka is unable to do anything against Berserker and Arthur Alter even with Proto Cu, and it’s Gil who pulls a hard counter to Berserker’s broken “auto-win” ability out of Gate of Babylon, then challenges Ayaka.
I’ve also heard people claim that the Formalcraft which Ayaka uses is actually completely unrelated to the magecraft which uses land mana and is actually a weird form of elemental magecraft. I don’t have a source on this, unfortunately

About Fate/prototype, it's really a shame it'll probably never be realized, the concept is amazing..
If you have the old Carnival Phantasm Blu-Ray Box Set that comes with Fate/Prototype, Melty Blood CC:AA you get a fuckload of extra content from interview and additional notes, some of which hasn't been updated on the Wikia pages for F/P. It even drops a hint to the real-life inspiration for the Garden greenhouse setting as seen in F/P. I was endlessly frustrated that I couldn't figure out what location was the inspiration whilst I lived in Osaka, because I went to visit a lot of Fate/ sites in Kobe >< BUT I LOVE GREENHOUSES, AND I COULD NOT FIND IT!!!

I'm a year late but recently I've found myself interested in fate prototype and decided to read the fragments LN & even watched the 10 minute summary anime and oh boy, I love ayaka so much, many ppl might think she's boring, basic and not as interesting as manaka sajyou. but imo she's best girl. I understood her character in so many ways, to me ayaka would have been the hero of the holy grail war but she was written out of existence before the series could ever finish.
I hope one day, we get ayaka pseudo servant as the lady of lake vivian, bc I want to reunite her with arthur. (plus Arthur's bond ce in fgo also made me emotional too, his bond ce is literally the garden where he met ayaka)

Like the way you go in depth on girl whom you see self reflection on from glimpses then go ultra in depth to know more about her and learn to love her more and realize what she mean to you .. this is just a omega chad move and I I flipping love it
I'm sorry, what's this? A video about Fate/Prototype, an analysis on Ayaka freakin' Sajou? The TH-cam Recommendation RNG are smiling on me.
I myself was just working on a translation for the Prototype scenario in that Hanafuda game that came with Realta Nua (the character interactions are too crazy for me not to), so it was a pleasant surprise to have this recommended to me. More Prototype content in general is good civ in my book.
All in all, it was very pleasant video to watch. Ayaka as a character may not have the huge moral dilemmas and struggle with ideals that Shirou had in FSN, but her intended character arc was still a good one, basically an underdog story. Seeing her fight her way to the top would be a fun adventure, especially after the trauma-conga-line that is her backstory.
Honestly, together with Hakuno from the Extraverse, Ayaka is another Fate protagonist I'd love to see as a Pseudo-Servant in FGO.
Hell, some of them and other characters even dosnt need to be Pseudo-Servants (as DW proofs it with Shiki and Gray) and technically be themselves-Servants.
Unpopular opinion, but I feel like instead of getting an anime, Fate Prototype should be a Visual novel instead. Basically, getting the Fate stay night treatment with three endings one for Arthur, Gil, and Cu. I think most people probably wouldn't agree with me but I feel like that's the best way to format this story(And also I just want another TM Visual Novel lol)

I still want to know the difference and relation between Waver's Student and Richard's Master. Strange Fake implies that both are mamed Ayaka Sajyou and are different people, but they're basically the same in personality and looks except hair color. What's the deal?
It's a mystery, the entirety of Strange Fake is weird honestly, I'd give answers when it's all done.
Yo manpig I feel ya im Currently I'm my teenage years I am doubtful of my capabilities thinking everyone is better than me.When ever people i am around people , I think about how others will view and think about me instead of how I think and feel about myself. I often sit at the back of my clasd when playing fgo so that my classmates won't judge me even though I love playing fgo .This is one of fav vids that you make keep it up:)

Love the vid, i was always wanted to find out more about this side of the nasuverse. Is there any character from fate/strange fake that interest you or did you already made plans to make a vid for them?
I haven't planned anything from Strange Fake yet unfortunately because the story itself has yet to be properly completed and is still ongoing.
While I never watched Fate/Prototype, and therefore never got attached to Akaya as a character. I can relate very damn heavily to the feeling of being inferior. I have a very strong inferiority complex and a lot of things that get me down or allow me to feel any negative emotion I tell myself that I either deserve this, or that I don't deserve to be this much of a pushover when everyone else around me has worse problems to deal with in their life. I have been constantly surrounded by people who boast about how much pain they have experience in their life and thus all my life I was conditioned to believe my problems are nothing compared to my family. Which obviously they never directly told me this, but every time I want to talk about how I feel, it's been chalked up to others talking about how easy I have it or if I'm so sad then I should "find help" or "look to God" (being as how I am in probably the most religious part of America EVER). Yet I have been getting help for the past ten years, nothing has changed, and despite all my praying I am forced to keep praying or else I might be told by someone I'm not a true believer. And despite all that it just feels hard and overbearing when people have all these expectations of me yet they never realize that those expectations are just adding to the immense weight I already have on my shoulders. And when that weight finally overcomes me, I feel inferior and feel I have no right to exist.
So believe me when I say I can relate. Maybe not to the point of completely understanding because I'm not you at the end of the day, but I can relate to feeling inferior.
The way you explained it, Ayaka Sajyou story sounds a lot like Sakura Matou story, : - inferiority complex.
- Traumatic childhood
- Sorta Becoming the grail vessel.
- Falling in love/bounded with there Saber Servant.
- And multiple love interests which leads to Harem.
I don't see it asides from the former two
She never becomes the grail's vessel, her sister's got that covered with godly power
Sakura never got with a Saber servant nor multiple love interests, Ayaka herself isn't part of a harem, she's just the protagonist to a branching story like Shirou

As I've said already, I'm not going to be covering anything from Strange Fake until the story ends, since TMCS aim to be "definitive" until there's a future entry I couldn't predict or has stalled for literal years with no update like Tsukihime 2.
This goes for other ongoing stuff like Fate/Type Redline and Fate/Requiem.

Yep. The only completed media related to Fate/Prototype is its prequel, Fragments of Sky and Silver. There's a drama CD version of it being translated by Raizuslash, if you want to check it out.
Besides that, it's pain to wait for a proper adaptation of the Fate/Prototype, much like how painful it was for Miyu to get the shitty set she got from DW.
Can I ask you about your review of Rewrite's anime adaptation?

So, the anime adaptation of Rewrite is not faithful to the visual novel itself? I guess you have to think of it as a retelling of the VN's story? Even then, it could have been better, both its first and second seasons. Considering the second season adapts the Moon and Terra Routes and it's only about 12 episodes, that's a lot of content cut out.
@@rickynguyen5108 I've consumed both so I can directly compare. I think S1 is fantastic tbh, and the second season cuts nothing, it has everything the true routes has and I'm confidently in that.
