- How to repair a small hole in plasterboard / drywall? Unfortunately, it's not a good idea to fill it with the filler straight away. Plasterboard has paper on its surface so when the hole is formed the paper edges are frayed. Usually, after painting over the new filler, jagged edges remain visible. Also torn or damaged paper will expand in contact with paint. The better way to do a quick repair is to cut the paper with a sharp knife first.
To fill in the hole I used Wilko 'Let's patch it up' patching plaster suitable for repairs to interior walls and ceilings. Any silimar product for general plastering work will work well, too. The best sanding paper is eithe 60 or 80.
This method is only suitable for small damages. When you have to fix a larger hole you will need to cover it with a supportive material first. In this case, a piece of plasterboard cut to the size will do a job nicely.

VERY VERY GOOD AND INFORMATIVE
So nice of you
Good but need to know what products are you using
It is the universal filler. I used wilko 'let's patch it up' patching plaster, but it can be any patching plaster available in your country
When putting on the paste over holes it creates bubbles. How do I remove that?
I smooth it with a scraper until it is almost flat. After it dries, I sand it.
super! can I drill on that again?
Better somewhere else.
