Some say this weakens the filler?
why do you use the mesh
It spongins the roffinsplanter
It stops the filler falling out of the hole especially if you’re repairing a roof hole!

You shouldn’t be able to see the tape,it stays on the wall
If the holes that small don’t even bother with the tape

i used 500 grams to fill a big hole in a door
So Im in the middle of moving house and when moving stuff around someone knocked the wardrobe off balance and the corner has put a decent sized hole in the wall, could probably fit a football in there, lmao.

You need to cut that portion of plasterboard out and put a new cutting in

I need to fix a hole from a screw from a bracket from my blinds. And the screw has to go in the same place.
You could just squeeze the tube in the hole I guess. We’ve took some shelving down that the guy before used really long thick screws and left very deep holes I have to patch up 😊
You'd need to fill the hole with a piece of plasterboard - there are other videos on YT on how to do this.
@@2-scoops975or you could just glue some new lath in place. Drywall is very visually different than plaster

No the tape stays. The tape around the hole will get sanded down flat.

come on now ... put some of the mud in the hole and place the mesh tape over it . when it dries then top coat it
This makes literally no difference. There are holes in the tape so the plaster can be pushed through.

I used to shove it in without the tape.
I normally put the tape on my wife's mouth, and only then do i shove it in the hole !
