Cool video and that's a big laser. Try isopropyl alcohol to wipe the soot off your wood, it works pretty well. And when it dries you never know it was on there.
Not worth repairing the older laser. Probably broke down again in two months. I would just purchase a new laser like you did. Works out more economically better with larger bed (more efficient)
$ 12,000.00 ÷ 1500 boxes = $ 8.00 cost per box, is that correct? Ouch! I guess we can't say that machine doesn't owe you any money. I hope the new machine is of much better quality and not just bigger piece of #!%@! Got to give you credit though, your not afraid to bring us the good, bad and the ugly. Keep on keeping on.
Love seeing behind the real scenes of your professional process. Thanks as always for sharing!
Glad you enjoy it!
You guys always have the coolest tools! I'm sure the laser makes cutting templates and patterns much easier. Lots of uses for a tool like that!
It’s great for that kind of thing!

Thanks! I’ve heard that trick!
Sounds great, Jeff. Since you guys always know what you're doing, I'm sure it will work out well.

Thanks, Bill! Fingers crossed!
That new laser looks like a nice unit. Good luck with it going forward. 👍👍
Thanks, Steve!

Thanks, Rob!
Thats a beautiful machine.. ❤
Thanks! Build quality seems good.
What is the energy consumption?
It’s 110v. Doesn’t seem to use a lot!

Well we’re up to $29k on lasers now…lol. Just keeping it real over here! No sense in hiding our hang ups and mistakes like most of TH-cam.
Definetly not. FSL hasn’t been great either…
@@TodaysCraftsmenSorry to hear that. What do you have to spend to get something fairly trouble free?
About $50k and it doesn’t perform any faster. I priced one out and the sales rep told me I would be wasting my money.
