Maxxair Maxxfan rattle - mod kit installation fails to deliver

Today I explored the Maxxair fan rattle that van lifers experience in their camper vans while driving. The driving speed in this test was 45-50mph. I show you how I installed the modification kit (per their instructions) for solving the noisy rain shield. The kit is provided for free from Maxxair (link below). Unfortunately this fix does not work, the fan (is it the lid?) still rattles. I will continue to investigate the rattle and see if I can come up with a solution.

Hi, I just ordered the factory fix - gaskets. What did you end up doing to fix the rattle?

Hi. For me it was this th-cam.com/video/BNP1npa_LO4/w-d-xo.html but even still I have "some" rattle at highway speeds. I have another idea in mind I'll try and if it works I'll create another video. Nothing like a good brainstorm!
