For Ensaladang Talong
INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
4-5 pieces eggplants
Set B:
3 pieces tomatoes, diced
1 pieces onion, diced
1 piece thumb-sized ginger, minced
¾ cup vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Set C (Optional garnish):
Onion leeks
Red chili
For Poqui-poqui
INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
4 tablespoons cooking oil
2 pieces onion, chopped
3 pieces tomatoes, chopped
4 pieces eggplants, grilled and peeled, and chopped into chunks
Set B:
4 eggs, lightly beaten
Salt, to taste

Instead of salt We ilokanos we use bagoong isda po and we add vinegar for our puqui puqui dish po as well, i love watching your cooking lessons i even tried it many if your recipes thank you so much chef tatung! God bless!😍👍🥳🥰😊

I was about to suggest to add kakang gata to make it much much better...soooo good in Paete Laguna they call it Minanukang talong, so all the while may manok hinahanap ko ang manok sabi ng nanay ko walang manok...sa title lang daw yon, pero guaranteed yummy sya, di ako nakain ng gulay but that one I do..

Why you call it leeks when it is scallions??? Leeks is much bigger and only the light green / white part is used since the darker green leaves are often discarded because it’s tough and fibrous. Scallions on the other hand is smaller and most of the leaves and stalks are used since its tender and often used as a garnish on cooked foods
@ii beebox that is called scallions! Leeks has a much bigger and wider leaves!! It would be helpful if you try to search or google online the big difference between scallions and leeks!
