Greetings from Mid-Tennessee. Tennessee is a gorgeous state fell in love instantly after moving here from Illinois 3 years ago, and smallies are a blast here. I've found so many awesome spots throughout the great state of Tennessee a outdoorsman paradise.. My pb so far is a 6 1/2 lb Tennessee smallie video is on my channel great upload bud 🤙
looked like a fun kayak trip, to bad the fishing was a little slow. im sure it was a fun day still. cool to see all the traveling you've been doing. keep up the great content
Try drifting the Hellgrammite in current. No reeling. Give it a pop once in a while. Don’t be afraid to let baits sink. Often river fish are tucked behind rocks near the bottom, avoiding the main river current.
This river looks like a nice find! I think you will catch a lot of smallmouth down there! When is the first collab video with creek fishing adventures?
I actually DMed him about doing a kayak float and he said he'd be interested. We'll see if the scheduling works out one of these days. Thanks for watching, man!
The Fox River is definitely the best fishing, but the best overall Illinois kayak fishing experience is easily the middle fork Vermilion during springtime. Its hard to get a good perspective on it from my videos of there, but it's Illinois' only national scenic river for a reason. Thanks for watching, man!

I actually drove through middle TN yesterday. It was very beautiful, saw some kayakers on the Cumberland river and I was jealous.
@EngineeringHooksets if you watch any of my videos, you were a stones throw to any of the rivers or creeks in my content
@EngineeringHooksets For sure, it wasn't the Caney Fork..
Keep taking all the trips you can with your wife fishing while your young Matt before life gets in the way I’m so happy for you two 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you Dan! We definitely will!
That river looked awesome!!! Nice work man! 👊👊
Excited to see all the other new waters you’ll be fishing!
This was such a fun float!
Welcome to Tennessee
The fishing may have been disappointing, but the views of floating a river like that is always nice.
Yeah it was a fun float. Thanks for watching, man!!

I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the tip!
What color hellgramite would you suggest? Natural or something different?
@@Bri-lo3un Green for clear water maybe. Blue black for dirty or muddy water. If you only get one color get Blue black.
Shallow was the secret! Nice float.
Thanks, man!

@@EngineeringHooksets cool! He seems like a real nice guy. I look forward to seeing the collab!
Hey nice video. Thanks for teaching me the little river. Where did you put inn and put out? Great cast in that cave whole.
Thanks! We put in at River John's Outfitters (I think it was $5?), and took out at the Alcoa water plant boat ramp
Looked like a nice couples float with scenery. Great read on the Aura commercial. Did you see any Asian carp?
No, we did not. There's not an established population of asain carp in East TN (yet). Thanks for watching!
Of all the streams/rivers you’ve fished, can you confirm the Fox river is the best?
