Got mine installed in my Gladiator with the look a like on the driver seat. Looks way better than what came with the Jeep. It may seem pricey to some, but once you have it you can see and feel the quality. Color matches like oem. Wow, feels good having my little friend close and safe from others.
My recommendation would be to make a Jeep specific headrest, obviously jeep owners want to put a gun in there. Design it just for that and it can mimic a Jeep headrest. This version is too bulky, I want to put my aftermarket covers on it.
Not all jeep owners want to put a gun in there. My gun is under my steering wheel But cash, walket ,small purse would fit there fo when you are on hikes. Like what we do when ghost hunting.😅😅😅
Im just questioning its safety if you ever get rear-ended, in a collision your head will have full impact with a steel safe ...cool idea but how did it pass vehicle safty .
tested for what? not causing concussions? not being able to just have the thief remove the head rest from the base and crack it open later in their base?@@irvm7808
Yeah, give me a metal box for a head rest, so if I get into a crash, I can crack my head open, and have huge medical bills, this way I can keep some pokemon cards hidden in there or something.

Hey, is the pad softer than the stock pad? It would be nice to gain all of this functionality and a more comfortable headrest at the same time.
After Active shooter in Maine gun safe under seat or headrest is definitely a must. Great video Rob
Always carry concealed.
It looks like once installed it can not be removed because of that wing nut. Am I wrong?

Once installed with the "wing" nut, how do you remove it?
about to ask the same thing!
Is it comfy on a road trip?

Do you think aftermarket bumpers, mirrors, lights pass any safety? Nope.
Just chauffeur people around in the back. Lol.
Only the passenger, I’m driving 90% of the time without one. Perfect place for my side arm.
aftermarket bumpers that increase the rigidy over the stock ones do create more safety, FOR YOU, not the people you crash into.@@andyr5389

its only there to protect your neck so it will still get the job done.
I know that it's supposed to be universal but too bad that Vulcan does not offer an option using the same leather/vinyl that jeep uses.
This right here. Looks tacky to me since it's obviously different.
Yeah I have the tan interior. I like the idea but will stick out a bunch.
Looks like it would open if you hit a good bump and it is exposed. I would have to see them offroad before I would purchase one.
If it’s adjustable, couldn’t it be put in most any vehicle?
DO you sell the companion (non-safe) headrest by itself?
The post on my truck seat are thicker than the one on the headrest doesn't fit securely
The new Christmas toy for all you guy that like to ride dirty 🤫😉
Is it comfortable?
18ga ? you can cut 18ga with tin snips.....I say send this to LPL and see what he says.
Exactly what I was thinking
The idea seems to be that people would not think of looking into or messing with a headrest.
Will the headrest work on Tesla?
Is it only leather or does it come in fabric
comes in 4 fabric colors
Great Idea but the price for the two is insanely crazy!
prices have dropped. Check again.
Does this sit at the same uncomfortable angle as the stock headrest?
Looks better than and is better than original Jeep hr.. Looks like factory in my gladiator and the leather matches up perfect!!
I absolutely love this and im buying one asap.
Awesome!
$489.00 safe headrest only.
Where does it source power?
has 2 replaceable AAA batteries
$618 to get a cloth one with the matching non safe driver side! No way lol!
I want a safe for driver side too for my 2923 Tacoma
WHOA! You must be from the future... a 2923 Tacoma! lol
there is a driver side available if you don't want the look a like dummy.
Easy to pull the entire headrest off and leave. Cool idea thou
Cool but overpriced
new pricing, check again.
Only problem is it is easy to steal a headrest so if recognized they just rip out the headrests.
Has a wing nut at the bottom of the posts so you can't pull it out
Cost is above my pay grade!
This doesn't seem very effective to me. If somebody wanted your safe they could just take the whole seat, just a few bolts.
$489.00would be safer in my wallet...and then have to buy another one to match....no thx
pew! pew! I think you should be able to open it if you say "Live long and prosper".
Weird comment
Your link says its out of stock.
If you can pull out the headrest out of the seat and walk away, its not that secure.....
Man, there out of stock in tan....
Sweet place to hide my drugs when I get pulled over
