A Guide to Professional Pedaling in Piano Playing!

The correct use of the pedal is extremely important when playing the piano. It supports the musical expression, can reinforce timbres, phrases that cannot be played legato well can be ideally bridged with the pedal. The pedal is often referred to as the soul of the piano.
