    it is already wrong to drive at high speed in a property dense estate, its a blessing that no pedestrians were on the street at the time. whatever it is, its a tragedy and hope its serves as a good lesson to all drivers who loves to speed and race, please think carefully because, not only you are responsible for the lives of your passengers, it include those innocent pedestrians too! Would you rather live in South Africa? Where there are, on average, 57 murders a day? Or police uncovering an arms cache in a major capital city consisting of several automatic weapons that have probably been used in street violence to contribute to those murders? Or how about the rampant sexual assaults, currently averaging about 400, that happen in the country on a daily basis? Be thankful that in Singapore it is safe enough and stable enough that authorities can investigate incidents like this to make sure that idiots don't jump to stupid conclusions. Only someone who doesn't know or hasn't experience true hardship would complain about authorities carrying out a thorough investigation on the DEATHS OF FIVE PEOPLE. What would you like the authorities to tell their families? "They died. We don't know exactly why and never will investigate it." How about you volunteer to take that job?

    What is the chance that either the car's door can be opened after a high impact crash like this? A layman can tell you that the doors are likely to be buckled or misaligned, or the door mechanism is jammed shut by the electronics onboard after the impact and cannot be opened manually. you will need a cutting machine or a crowbar to jemmy it apart.

      Exactly, no point discussing on the road or car conditions when the investigations are still ongoing. Its just speculation and i say the same for people judging that it was racing, drink driving, suicide pact or whatever nonsense at the first instant when the news is out. Just wait for the investigations to be over, once the car is examined and the friends of the victims at the scene interrogated, we will naturally know the truth.

      @@skychaos87 His friend, Akira said the car skidded when it’s clear they were racing. Do you really think the deceased were merely closing down the Korean restaurant they own nearby at 5am plus when social distancing regulations dictate places must close at 10:30pm? How good of a witness is he? Is he credible then or is he covering for himself and them? Maybe they flouted social distancing rules too? Autopsies will be difficult when the bodies are burnt as well. Chances are we might never know the entire truth, but we know for a fact that the driver was speeding and residents nearby claim they have circled the area three times before they crashed. They have provided photos to support this. There are also old Instagram stories of the driver circulating about on how he was bragging over the sad fact that he was caught speeding in the US and had been told to appear in American court. But his Instagram is now deleted. Read what you want of it.

      @@shopgirl6183 Yes that deduction of yours is reasonable, but my point is that we are not the judge or expert investigators. I'm sure whatever the evidences are, the police and the experts will have a clearer picture than us trying to jump to conclusions based on second hand information online. Also, the investigators are not stupid, they are also not going to take what the witnesses said at face value, if you think they were lying i am sure the police and investigators will know it better than you. More importantly the investigators have more access to other information than us like examination of the wreckage, autopsy results, CCTV footages or even access to the victims and witnesses' private data be it social media account and transaction with car modifying companies(if any). I'm not going to take what the correspondent in this video said at face value, so i'm definitely not going to just accept online speculations(even if they turn out true). This is not a competition of who can make the best prediction or "i told you so". I only care about the truth and we will know what the result is when the verdict is out.

    • @produdeyay
      @produdeyay 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      uhhh, my understanding is different from yours. at 4:57, he summarised the "errors", i.e. speeding, overloading the car, possible car modifications, and one that he didn't add into the summary, possible not wearing seatbelts.
      I don't think road conditions was one of the errors he was talking about.

    I think you people giving ST a hard time for doing this should take a chill pill, it is actually good that they use this unfortunate incident to create some positive. Make it a talking point, create awareness, if not for the speedster (whom will not listen) will be for parents so that they be extra vigilant about giving their son or daughter a powerful machine. However, having said that, at 200 km/h, I do not think any seat belt or airbags going to save you. Just look up TH-cam for vehicle crash test and ask yourself if you think it is survivable.
