I am now a proud owner of a CZ 75B because of your videos! Sold my 1911 that I had some custom work done on, Out of the box the 75B is more accurate than the 1911 and I can carry as much ammo in one mag as I did with 3 in my 1911. When I picked it up at the gun shop I knew I was buying it! It fits my hand better than any I have ever held. Now I'm gonna have to get a rami. Thanks for the great videos Brother! Long Live the REPUBLIC!!! Have a Blessed Day!
CZ is my favorite firearms manufacturer. They are off the charts in quality, very accurate and durable as hell and reasonably priced. What's not to like??
I really hope CZ purchasing Colt doesn't destroy them as a company, they have already stopped production here in the United States from what I hear turning everything over to Colt, they're going to make everything in Czech Republic, then use Colt to import the firearms. I hear that they are no longer making the CZ DWX pistols that they unveiled at the 2019 Shot Show, everyone was extremely excited for those pistols to come out, me included. The reason I have heard why they are no longer making the CZ DWX pistols is due to a supply issue that they were facing in the United States. I really hope that CZ does not allow Colt to run wild in the United States because if History teaches us anything it's that they will tank the company again. I was so looking forward to CZ coming out with the whole bunch of new pistols but it seems like we are not going to be getting that anytime in the near future.
My Rami is my EDC absolutely love it! It is the decocker model and I like D/A to S/A pistols like the feel and capacity of the extended mag. It took a little getting used to the weight being an all metal gun but I absolutely love it never leave home without it!
@@PrimetimeNutbecause most people carry sub compact/micro compact. The two best selling handguns for the last 5 or so years have been the p365 and 43x
The RAMI with the manual safety is a great gun, as is the decocker model reviewed here. The trigger difference is pretty considerable, with the manual safety being significantly better. But either flavor is a great choice. I also have a CZ-85 Combat - another great gun to consider if looking for a duty sized sidearm.
I just saw this on an Instagram post with a Vortex Defender RDS. I never even knew it existed until I looked it up and saw your video first. I'm late but still grateful, thanks for sharing Don!
I know this video is two years old but I just picked up the BD model of the 2075 a few days ago. Haven't shot it yet, I bought it from my local gun store's going out of business sale. $608 out the door with tax and background check, couldn't say no! New in box and all! Can't wait to shoot it!
I know your post is three years back but how do you like your Rami? I bought one last night, manual safety style. I'll be able to pick it up sometime next week. ^..^~~
In my experience, the CZ 75 line represents some of the very best production quality in the world. I own the model P-01 and have found no other firearm that equals its quality. The RAMI BD is on my watch list, but as you noted, these pistols are extremely difficult to find in the wild. Nicely done review of this pistol Sootch.
So right about a decocker. I love guns with them vs a manual safety. I have a bunch of CZ pistols and never had a lemon. They all shoot quite well and accurately.
Justin I’m fairly certain it was just a hard primer, they were both light strikes. I had been firing el cheapo steel case ammo. Worth noting though that’s the MAJORITY of what I fire out of the PO-7 and haven’t had an issue with it in there

This RAMI really is a great carry piece. I opted for the SA version for a few reasons. The main reason is I like to have options. I normally carry hammer down or half cocked, but I will sometimes carry cocked and locked depending on the situation/method of carry. And as you stated, the trigger on the SA is superior to that of the DA. The extra $100 to spend on Cajun Gun Works parts didn't make the decision any harder. I've installed there short reset spring kit (extended firing pin, light firing pin spring, fpb spring, short lifter), trigger reach reduction kit (85C adjustable trigger, #13 mainspring, match grade disconnect), lighter trigger return spring, stainless competition match grade hammer, and adjustable match sear. DA is a smooth 6.9lbs and SA is a crisp 3.0lbs w/0.25" take up. I'm selling my G43...
Pro tip: on my rami bd I swapped out the slide stop lever for one off a p01, its slightly longer so its easier to grab with your thumb. May interfere with safety models but works great on BD and still fits in the holster great.
Thank you for doing this review. Finding good video reviews for this pistol is nearly impossible. I've owned striker fired guns almost exclusively but I have fallen in love with the AIWB carry method and even though I take all precautions, I think the added peace of mind of a double action would be nice. So I guess I'm looking to the past for solutions for today.
I just bought my first CZ Rami BD. This is my third CZ pistol and they're just great. I haved owned two CZ P-01's ( regretfully traded one and bought another ) and of the thousands of rounds spent I have not had a single hick-up with one of these guns. I haven't shot my Rami but I sure it's gonna rock.
Yeah I am buying the cz compacts. P01,PCR, and I already have the Cz-Compact D (which is the same has the P01 just stamped for European markets. ) This all for my home defense/earthquake kit. The magazines are all compatible, even with the Rami so why not get a Rami for EDC while I'm at it. I like Glocks just fine, especially the newer gen. But the Cz just sits in my hand so much better.
I just bought a RAMI with regular safety and a month ago I bought a full size EAA witness, I used to be a 1911 type guy now I am a real fan of Mr. Browning's last incarnation, they both just shoot so sweet and their recoil impulse is so mild. My next purchase will either be a Witness Steel 45 or CZ-97.
I have now put over 500 rounds through my Rami BD and it really feels like shooting my compact. It just handles great. One thing to note is that my CZ P01 magazines, which has the CZ standard compact magazines, fit my Rami without a problem. On the other hand my Rami 14 round compact magazine does no stay in the P01. I have taken the handle extender off of course but there is a small detail difference along the magazine and this must make the difference. The CZ 97 looks like one I'll look at down the road but I might be looking at the FNH series too. If I was going to buy a classic it would be a Browning High Power for sure.
Just picked up one recently. A BD Rami. Really like how easy it is to shoot and the accuracy is great. The 10rds are gone before you know it..Picked up a SHTF iwb holster for it, and now carry it daily.
It is a Fantastic pistol I bought mine in Kentucky and it's been nothing but pleasure to shoot I'm already close to One Thousand rounds and not one problem.
0:50 CZ Rami is not really a "subcompact" CZ 75, that's why they didn't call it "CZ 75 Rami". It's actually the descendant of CZ 40B (that shares some features with CZ 75), a joint project between CZ and Colt, to build a new pistol for the new 40SW caliber, for police market. That's why the grip panels look like a Colt. The project fell through, but the design gets recycled into the Rami :)
I had my first experience shooting the RAMI today at the local gun range. It was a rental, so, I did not expect much seeing how most rentals are poorly maintained. However, it shot like a dream. I shot it at 14 feet, and 30 feet, and the bullets went right where I wanted them to go. a definite future purchase for me.
I was out looking at guns today and came across this CZ 2075 RAMI, which really caught my attention. Bought the CZ-75D based on your review and I love it. This one looks great too. I'll be seeing if I can find one this weekend. Thanks for all the great reviews. I really appreciate the time you spend on making the vids. Happy 4th of July!
One great things about the CZ 75 9mm line of handguns is the magazines are interchangeable. An excellent combination to own is the SP-01. the 75B (or the P-01) and the Rami --the same magazines work for each.
I had problems using the classic 75B mag in SP-01 Shadow. Cannot remember the the exact problem but - as far as I remember - it was something with the slide movement. Opposite direction (75B with SP-01 mags) worked well.
vgman94 The SP-01 is the same as the 75B if you watch the "what use for" aspect. Almost the same construction with two differences: SP-01 has the rail system and a decocker instead of the manual safety. The 75B is the classic one, the SP-01 is the modernized one. (There is a huge difference in my country: here are a lot of used and cheap 75Bs to buy but SP-01's are rare and expensive even in used condition.)
skypechess Actually, the SP-01 Tactical has a decocker, but the normal version has a manual safety instead. Not sure about the rail system, but I think the SP-01 does have one IIRC. Also, if I may ask, what country are you from? I'm from America and they're semi-rare, but not impossible to find.
vgman94 So the two variants are more similar. :) I live in Hungary. The reason 75Bs are "common" here and SP-01 are not is that the as we were the right side of the Iron Curtain (right in the aspect of getting a CZ :) the usual choice for having a high quality self defence pistol was the original variant. But having a gun here is not easy, there are a lot of paperwork with it. And I mean lot of. So if you have a pistol at home but fed up with the paperwork you will sell it. These are "old" guns but not used often. This is the "used 75Bs are not-rare part". The cheap part: as the paperwork is huge, the buyer part of the market is small. Relatively(compared to the American numbers) big amount of guns for small pool of buyers. Used SP-01 here... Well, sometimes. Those are bought by sport-shooters and those guys (we) are different kind of bird: we shoot no matter the bureaucracy. :) And if you have a CZ why would you sell it? This is the "used SP-01s for sale are rare" part.
Since CZ discontinued the CZ 2075 Rami they need to make a new subcompact pistol all metal & single stack with 7 & 8 round magazines like the S&W shield.
I've carried one of these for about a year now. It's fantastic. 4ozs heavier than the G26 but just a better shooter. I just don't like plastic guns, they feel like toys. I've put about 500 rounds through it and it hums. SA pull on my scale is a consistent 4.5 lbs - great gun. Just put some new wood grips on it - beautiful. I don't know why this gun doesn't make any of the "top 5" lists or videos!?
Thanks for the review. I just bought my first CZ, an 82 in 9MAK to round out my collection. I've been very happy with the quality of it. The RAMI looks nice, a little thick.
Another great video. I have a CZ 75 P-02 which is just a fantastic gun. I have often wondered how the RAMI stakes up with the other 75 variants. I must now seek one out and shoot it for myself. Btw the production value of your videos has really improved over the last year or so. Keep it up!!!
Great review! This will go well with my 85B and P01. I am not a proponent of having different style of sidearms. All my sidearms are 1911 style so my muscle memory works for all of them vs having a couple 1911 style guns and a Glock or two. I have no doubt the RAMI will be as accurate as my 85B and P01.
One of the reasons I love watching you, is that you really know what your talking about. And that you talk about the history of the gun, as well..and did you get a new camera, or something? The video looks great, man!
I have been CCW a RAMI for 7 months now. I am crazy over it or anything CZ. You can take a Springer XD mag grip extension by pierce, mod it slightly and it will fit your pinky like a glove.
I can vouch for the rami being hard to find. I spent 3 weeks trying to find a local gun shop with one in stock. I ended up driving 50 miles to a shop with it in stock. But it was well worth the time and effort.
I have this exact hand gun as well as a CZ 75B. Both are great handguns accurate and dependable and very well made. The RAMI BD is my concealed carry gun of choice. It disappears in my belly band and very comfortable. Great video!
I have five CZs. My overall favorite is a custom 75B Compact L, which is a special run P-01 (with a safety) from CZ, customized by Angus Hobdell's CZ Custom.
Just bought the CZ P01 this month...The Rami D is next on my list. I always enjoy all of your videos, You are one of my favorite channels to watch!! Happy New year to you.
So I found one today at a local gun shop. Wasn't the BD so I didn't buy it, but boy, it sure fits my hand well. This one is next on the list. Never knew this existed. Thank you for the info.
I absolutely love your review on the Rami! Thank you! Yours is the most in-depth that I’ve found. Too bad the Rami is now discontinued because this pistol is amazing! It is like finding a unicorn 🦄!
I have 3 CZ's. VZ58, PCR, and P07 in .40 cal. I love my PCR most of all. It's beautiful and perfect. I carry my P07 which I love too. Cant bring myself to carry the PCR anymore. Too nice, and Id like it to stay that way. I'd carry a Rami instead if I had one. Ive been wanting one.
Not An Argument. for sure. They are great people! They are one of only a handful of CZ authorized dealers in the state. If they don't have it, you can make a deposit and join a waiting list. Monique will take care of you.
Your video is awesome, but it's weird to watch it now. I just bought a RAMI in .40 caliber, manufactured in December 2014, serial number "B544668". Look familiar? I've owned three RAMI P handguns in 9mm, bought them all used, one was picky about the ammo it would feed, but I love the ergonomics of these guns. I love this all-metal version, gonna get some custom wooden grips and a good leather holster, make this my new EDC. Seems my problem with the 9mm is there's just too many bullet shapes in the mix, .40 ammo is pretty much all the same shape. Thanx for some great videos.
The model with the safety has a much better trigger. I wish the decocker model had the same crisp trigger but because of this I bought the safety model.
Hello sootch I wish you and your family and happy 4 th of july. A day to remember, what the american constitution , traditions and constitutional rights stands for. Good bless America . Long live the Republic Best Kay
As always GREAT REVIEW, you can get 3 fingers on the grip with a Pierce magazine extension. Go to Pierce and order a springfield XDM floor plate and with just a slight modification you can have a great 3 finger grip. Its all on youtube under CZ rami pinky extension. Cool hand also makes a fantastic G10 type grip for it!!
This gun has been discontinued, probably because of all the newer, lighter polymer subcompacts on the market. However, this is a great little gun, if you don't mind a few more ounces of weitht. I have this, a compact and a full-size CZ, and this one feels better in the hand. You don't feel the weight of the barrel tipping it forward. It' like holding a solid chunk of aluminum in your had. But, the best way to make this work is to go to eBay and buy a magazine extension. Searh and you shall ifnd . I have big hands, but I practived crowding all three fingers onto the extended grip until it's nearly as comfortable as the grip of my compact. If you can find this on the used market, you should consider it.
This great pistol has a serious issue of the given spring. Jams happened which stop cycling since the springs are too weak in both 10 and 14-rd magazines. To save this situation and keep enjoying the accuracy of this firearm, one should replace the current springs to the one with CZ75. Specifically, the one from Wolff CZ75/TZ75/AT84/P9 XP Magazine Springs +10% (#74274) will do it. I know it's weird to squeeze a 15-rd spring to 10 and 14-rd ones. However, it works and recommended by some others in the forums.
Resident Evil 8 introduced me to this little guy, now it's my favorite

(There is a huge difference in my country: here are a lot of used and cheap 75Bs to buy but SP-01's are rare and expensive even in used condition.)
skypechess Actually, the SP-01 Tactical has a decocker, but the normal version has a manual safety instead. Not sure about the rail system, but I think the SP-01 does have one IIRC. Also, if I may ask, what country are you from? I'm from America and they're semi-rare, but not impossible to find.
vgman94 So the two variants are more similar. :)
I live in Hungary.
That’s a beautiful gun...especially since it’s all metal, hammer, and recessed slide...keeping the comments alive after all this time.
I love my RAMI. This gun is a dream to shoot and a pleasure to carry.
Since CZ discontinued the CZ 2075 Rami they need to make a new subcompact pistol all metal & single stack with 7 & 8 round magazines like the S&W shield.
I have been saying this for 2 years...RAMI 2.0
I added this fine pistol to my collection. It sits in my safe with its P07 and CZ 75 D Compact PCR brothers.
Sootch, I just love your gun review videos. Some of the very best out there.
AVGJOE ARMEDCITIZEN --they are impossible to find. I'm about to sell multiple to fund this one. But wow. They are rare as hell
Hate plastic guns too, they are shit
Great presentation. You sold me on the RAMI. So another CZ to add to my collection. Thanks
Man. I just got a P-01 and put some vz grips and TFX Pros on it. Now I want one of these too.
Thanks for the review.
I just bought my first CZ, an 82 in 9MAK to round out my collection. I've been very happy with the quality of it. The RAMI looks nice, a little thick.
I just was able to pick one of these rami's up. I love it you are right very high quality.
Another great video. I have a CZ 75 P-02 which is just a fantastic gun. I have often wondered how the RAMI stakes up with the other 75 variants. I must now seek one out and shoot it for myself. Btw the production value of your videos has really improved over the last year or so. Keep it up!!!
The Lemi from Resident Evil Village
this will be my next conceal carry thanks for a very good review on this gun very helpful
Gotta have it! Perfect carry gun imo...
Oh btw-Welcome CZ manufacturing to Arkansas!!
🙏💪🇺🇸💪🙏
Picked up one these with the manual safety today. Thanks for the review!
One of the reasons I love watching you, is that you really know what your talking about. And that you talk about the history of the gun, as well..and did you get a new camera, or something? The video looks great, man!
I have been CCW a RAMI for 7 months now. I am crazy over it or anything CZ. You can take a Springer XD mag grip extension by pierce, mod it slightly and it will fit your pinky like a glove.
out of all the gun guys on youtube, you by far have to best music in ur vids
I could always count on Sootch00 to review pistols I want to buy.
Will be keeping my eyes open for one. CZ's are a great gun this looks like a great concealed carry option.
such a beautiful gun. I hope to get my hands on this to add it to my conceal lineup
I can vouch for the rami being hard to find. I spent 3 weeks trying to find a local gun shop with one in stock. I ended up driving 50 miles to a shop with it in stock. But it was well worth the time and effort.
really great review, thank you. I look for your reviews, keep them coming. Long live the Republic.
I tried the 14 rnd mag in my P01 and it did not quite fit. Love the Rami. I have had it for a few years now and it performs flawlessly.
I have this exact hand gun as well as a CZ 75B. Both are great handguns accurate and dependable and very well made. The RAMI BD is my concealed carry gun of choice. It disappears in my belly band and very comfortable. Great video!
U know I'm up chilling late at night watching gun reviews. You've always got good reviews. I clicked on it and the damn music scared the shit out me 😂
I want one but looks like they're all sold out. Hopefully they will import a few containers full. This is a good looking little gun.

Robert DeMilo they're back inb stock at budsgunshop as of 3/8/18
I have five CZs.
Happy New year to you.
the real LEMI in Resident Evil : Village
So I found one today at a local gun shop. Wasn't the BD so I didn't buy it, but boy, it sure fits my hand well. This one is next on the list. Never knew this existed. Thank you for the info.
Best cz video I have seen yet. Thanks for the great video
As always, nice review. These CZ's have a unique style, there's probably one in my future.
I absolutely love your review on the Rami! Thank you! Yours is the most in-depth that I’ve found. Too bad the Rami is now discontinued because this pistol is amazing! It is like finding a unicorn 🦄!
Happy with my unicorn! 🥰
@@yesiamathinker1580 ❤️❤️❤️🦄🤩 You go girl!!!
You can get them online still
Who else first saw this gun in Resident Evil Village?

Resident evil from about 25 years ago? SNAAAAAKKKKKEEEEE
CZ's are so beautiful
I purchased a Rami after watching this video. I rotate it with my Stacatto, Kimber S6, 365 and VP9SK. All of which I saw on your site. Be well Sir
I just got got one a month or so ago great gun! Just have to keep them clean and lubed to ensure good function more so than most other guns good video
Really appreciate this video sootch... have been looking for a quality review of this exact pistol.
Love this Rami in 9mm! Very accurate and low recoil.
Very good review as always this is one of my favorite carry pistols
wow! cool grips on the bigger guns
I wish i could find one in stock anymore.
Spencer's Firearms in Madera, CA
Matthew Johnson their website doesn't show any.
I'll have to call em

One of my favorite all time guns, I regret getting rid of it (for financial reasons) but one day I'll grab another one!
Hello sootch
I wish you and your family and happy 4 th of july.
A day to remember, what the american constitution , traditions and constitutional rights stands for.
Good bless America . Long live the Republic
Best Kay
Happy 4th to you and yours as well! Thank you~
Fantastic review. It sold me on it, and is going to be the next purchase.
Excellent video --you do the best gun review videos anywhere, including from manufacturers. Thanks.
A down side to the internal slide rails is that there is less grip surface on the rear slide serrations for charging.
Between this and the 365 for my first CCW.
I went with the Sig
We could not get Sig 365 in commie CA, so I went with the RAMI
You can find 3D sleeve schematics online that work for the standard CZ 75 magazine that end up looking just like the 14 round magazine.

@@zarinkai2927 Wow the link is erased and when I wrote the page name it also gets erased!!
@@zarinkai2927 Sorry can't help I tried several ways but it just doesn't stick.
It is a 3D print schematic.
Very nice gun scooch man. I like the finish of the pistol. This gun screams quality.
