I grabbed two bottles of this at a local duty free for $150us ...no tax...
Must say, it is a great dram.
I just finished a flight a few nights ago with this beauty....
Glad I have an unopen bottle in reserve.
    Cheers..

Expensive but one to savour every now & then, because as you say it`s a luxurious dram made all the more so by that chocolate malt which is unique to me too in scotch. Enjoyed your review Alan thanks.

What's the difference between that and "supermarket " Glenmorangie. When I was young many moons ago , I could only drink Glenmorangie because it was so smooth as opposed to the Bells which was I thought was like "fire water" . Bells and Grouse were the favourites way back then and I just couldn't drink them. This was when single malts were not in the fashion like they are today . I like your quick reviews because being a newbie I can't think of any more you can say about a dram.

cant find info on age but whispers are saying some 30 to 40 year old in here, it does not taste of anything youthful...its a beautiful balanced well aged whisky....thanks for dropping bye my friend....
