    I really like how we could hear the speaker playing 100’ away while you talked for context. Really gives us an idea of how loud it is. Gotta say, I’m impressed. I was weary of a little 8” speaker but I think this will be more than enough for my needs.

    Steve, great vid Brother! I'm really glad you and your team took the time to get this speaker right. For battery powered speakers I've used the Denon Envoi, JBL, etc... over the years. Just received my Everse. None of these others speakers I've used for ceremonies and/or satellite coverage are in the same ballpark as this Everse 8 when it comes to solid tech, build quality, and sound. Amazing!!!

    These things are great, made my life so much easier at gigs. Being able to run a speaker on the other side of the room without the need of cables is a game changer. Combine this speaker with a wireless XLR system and it's true wireless sound ready for any event.

    I’ve just done my first gig with the Everse 8. I was looking forward to being able to charge my iPad whilst using it to play my music. Unfortunately there’s an awful buzzing sound while using the USB connection and 3.5 mm input together. It warns you this can happen in the trouble shooting guide in the manual. I prefer a wired connection for audio as I’d be worried mobile alerts could interrupt Bluetooth streaming. Not a happy bunny!

    How many people can the everse 8 serve at an outdoor event? And at an indoor event?

    The tripod is bought separately?? Thoughts anyone? Is there a specific pod or go reasonable priced on the wallet?

    Great review! Question, could you power 2 mics? 1 mics from the dedicated power port and the other from the USB-C port with and adapter cable?

    Do you know if the built-in Bluetooth is low latency? I currently have an annual gala gig where I mix from the back of a ballroom and have music sent from back but have auctioneer on a microphone so it has to be low latency or the auctioneer hears their voice a split second after they talk, which can be unnerving. I currently use a two-channel transmitter off my board which is low latency and a receiver on each of my speakers, but would be nice to have that built in to the speakers. Thanks for the clear, professional and comprehensive review. The mic feedback kill feature might have sealed the deal for me!

    the problem is that this volume test at a certain distance does not allow you to know if the volume is not already turning on the limit light, the only correct test would be to increase the volume until the LIMIT light, lower it to where the LIMIT light no longer flashes, ai yes measure the volume away.

    • @khmerunlocker5349
      @khmerunlocker5349 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Easy bro have 2 way to know the limits
      1- led front of speaker
      2- app control also show limit as well.

    • @paulotarso2928
      @paulotarso2928 ปีที่แล้ว

      What I wanted to say was about the test that was done, I couldn't know if that demonstration mole could be turning on the limit light.

    Bought a JBL Eon One Compact for a variety of uses, one being as a bass amp/monitor for smaller situations, but it clips like hell when turned up to any real world level. How does the Everse 8 handle bass frequencies at volume? Considering returning the JBL and picking one of these up. TIA

    • @f8274
      @f8274 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my opinion you can not expect "bass" from a small 8inch "woofer", even not from a 10inch. Bass starts with 12" size. But for background "lala" it is probably enough. A 8 inch Loudspeaker is nothing for dancing.

  • @Premiermobiledj
    @Premiermobiledj ปีที่แล้ว

    What do you think about using it for a group of 80 for dancing

    • @kpodj
      @kpodj  ปีที่แล้ว

      You're going to be lacking bass for a dance party. But two of these (and they will wirelessly link stereo) plus a sub can do an 80 person dance event. I wouldn't use them for a sweet 16 or grad party, but something less demanding dB-wise would be fine. If you need to be totally battery powered, Yorkville makes a battery sub: www.kpodj.com/yorkville-exm-mobile-sub--battery-powered-subwoofer-p-112406

    Hey how long does it take to charge for the first time
    Thanks

    • @kpodj
      @kpodj  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, re-charge time is usually about 4 hours. They come charged (or, at least, mostly charged), so topping it off shouldn't be long in the initial charge.

    Hey does anyone have an idea on how to store these? I have a nice case, but I’m wondering if I should leave it plugged in? Thanks

    • @kpodj
      @kpodj  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd store them fully charged but I wouldn't leave them plugged in. That being said, if you aren't going to use them for a few months, turn them on, run them a bit, then re-charge.
