Yes. Get out of there. I got the same scar. 4 neck surgeries. 2 disk replacements a fusion. Then the last surgery the disks had to come out and the plate. Everything was fused. Now a broken screw. Doc says he’s not opening my neck again, he said he will put a cage in from the back of my neck. None of this has stopped me from living my life. I do hvac for a living and have very little limitations. Just thought I’d share. Hope your ok.
Happy Thanksgiving. It’s been 10 months since my surgery and I am still in pain like 95% of the time. My surgeon suggested to remove the screws in my neck. He thinks that’s that is causing my pain because he said that I shouldn’t be having any at 10 months out . I am going for a second opinion in a few weeks. I have read on Facebook that a lot of people have pain even a year out. Did you have any pain at 10 months to a year ?
Yes. And I still have pain to this day. But I also need additional surgeries. Also, the top fusion didn’t fuse. I would definitely get a couple opinions from different schools of training. Also ask for a flexion extension, x-ray, or imaging of some sort.
@@KimWright Thank you for replying . Oh boy I’m sorry you need more surgeries. I just had a MRI and I didn’t hear from my surgeon. The last time I had a CT in July and the PA called me to say that everything looks good and that I am fussing slowly. And now my surgeon was looking at the same scan from July and says I’m completely fused. It’s messed up. I’ll see what the second option says. These surgeries really mess you up. Hope you had a nice day.
but thats the thing.. i clean so much that everytime the exterminator comes - he treats but says he cant find them or evidence of them, other than my bites and the 2 bugs I caught before...... ugh
