Likely also a combination of Tim taking time to study what looks he’d like to go for and the aesthetic he’s chasing. Agreed he rocked all of them, and I’d wager that you could do the same across 3 hairstyles after some study of your features and desired aesthetic.

Cut looks good. The only shitty part about this hairstyle is maintaining the fade every 2 weeks. My hair grows back so fast that honestly I needed a weekly fade.
But I honestly love the look when the sides grow out. I recently went to a number 3 on top buzzcut, I just keep buzzing the 3 on top weekly but let the side grow out. Wife says looks like the guy from prison break and she loves it lol

One other thing, I am a woman. I finally had the courage to do an almost buzz cut from long hair. It is the most freeing experience of my life. 😊

i personally let my hair grow out and cut it very short after a year or so and ive noticed that my style changes every time, when its long ill have a more nirvana, kurt cobain look and when its short ill have a more classical manly look to my outfits. your whole haircut evolution is a beautiful work of documentation
