Great to see you back on this!. Most people should be ok with your pesky defending our nation getting in the way of the build. Thank you for your service. 🙏
Great to see you back. That 'chassis' needs sooo much work and re-design, there is so much wrong with it! Have you looked at photos of the original cars chassis? Watching with interest from New Zealand.
Yep I agree it needs alot. At this stage we sort have have to work with what we have rather than go down the OEM route to make it a usable car. It will never be a true to design replica at this point
There are narrow body and periscope bodies being built in the US. The body I have commissioned to being molded presently has separate flares, bumpers and rockers.
Hello, Can I ask why you designed a new chassis and not used an existing one - for example Prova? I would also like to ask who made the LP400 body. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Where does the body come from?. Not seen a LP400 before , they are usually the horrible big wheel arch and wing versions
This started life as one of those but Pete had the arches made they have done a real good job of them
@@TheDIYTuners Thanks. They look way better.. Look forward to see this project progress.

I took on this build mid way. If you watch the previous videos there's quite abit of history on it and why it's at this point 👍
Where did you get the body ?
It started life as a prova body and had all the arches and roof made custom
@@TheDIYTunersand do you have any files or templates of the chassis etc. ?
I don't. This one is abit of a one off now because of its history etc however Josh over at jp cages is now producing chassis for these builds
@@TheDIYTuners thanks 👍🏻😁
As nice as the V8 is, it'll never sound Italian. Fit and Alfa Busso V6...?
It's a balance between sounding nice and standing at the side of the road waiting on breakdown services 😂
@@TheDIYTuners Ha ha!! Well....that is an arguement!
