    This is pure gold,
That cellist is so kind in both sides, musically and as a human being
    Incredible

Until today my basic and the most beloved version was that of Truls Mørk with Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra under Mariss Jansons. But having listened to this version for a couple of times now I fell in love with it so much that I can't stop listening to it! Daniel Müller Schott plays this concerto in a very spirited and nuanced way, his cello has this delightful sound colour that this concerto demands! In the Adagio and in the coda before the ecstatic finale he reaches lyrical heights not everyone can achieve! And hey he's so easy on the eye, too! A prince charming of the Cello! Am in love with this great musician! ❤❤❤❤

Burgos & Kitajenco are my favorite conductors because they produced absolutely persuasive music.

First the Danes bring Vikings upon the world.
Next they design Australia's, if not the worlds most iconic Opera House.
Now they flaunt their brilliant musical abilities in front of us all.
What next ? -comfortable furniture, plastic building blocks, saccharomyces pastorianus yeast ? No, they have done that already ! 👏👏

What I wish for now is for him to team up with Anne-Sophie Mutter for a mind blowing recording of Brahm's Doble Concerto for violi and cello!

Would it be possible to release more video performances by Maestro Kitajenko? I agree that the orchestra sounds absolutely amazing under his leadership along with de Burgos and of course Maestro Luisi!!

Visually its nice the DR Koncerthuset seems to have reduced the intensity of the frame around the screen. Much less distracting than before.

Tak! Superb performance! You can't help but shed a tear for Josefina at 41:26 and her final tympani beat at 43:00 if you know the story of the composition.

@@ribhavgupta6148Dvorak loved Josephina but married her sister because she did not return his love. Years later, Josephina died while he was composing this concerto in the USA, so he dedicated the last movement to her memory. Dvorak had a big disagreement with his publisher who did not believe that slow passages should belong in the last movement, while Dvorak refused to modify it. Eventually Dvorak got his way and the concerto was published as he had composed it. This concerto was voted the best cello concerto ever composed.
