I just want to say a massive thank you ! I was nearly crying trying to figure out the shutter and ISO on M mode on my Olympus your video helped me fully understand it now I can go and experiment with photos ! 🙂
Thanks. The super control panel is great for quick access. The iso can be extended to but gotta set it up in menu. It's a great tool to learn all about stops etc.. I mainly use aperture priority 99% of the time.
Thanks Lilly. Im always learnimg too.. bardest part is putting it all together when out and about. The exposure triangle is the key. Aperture Shutter and ISO
Very informative. It was interesting to hear the birds in the background when you were outside--completely different from what I'm used to hearing in New York!
A game changer for me. Fantastic demonstration on how to adjust for the exposure compensation. Till day I couldn't understand what those flashing meant!! The n00b I am. How do you adjust the iso from one your dials after 6:58 afterwards btw? That seems as an extremely useful thing to me. Thanks a lot Roberto for this wonderful video again.
Thank you, a great tutorial. I’d got stuck re M mode as I had assumed that exposure wd have its own dial and couldn’t understand why sometimes ok and others not.
Yeah. With M both dials only change the shutter\aperture so in infect the exposure is fully controlled by what you choose for both. Plus dont forget about the ISO also has a big part in the final result
Hi Roberto. I found your channel via Robtrek’s forum. Did you disable Live View boost ? That way you can see your image change to darker or lighter when you tweak aperture/shutter in Manual Mode so you don’t need to rely solely on the the meter. Good video.
Hey Plato. Good tip. Yes when I was researching for my BULB long exposure video - I learnt about the live boost thing, and realized its easier (during the day anyway) to turn that off. Thanks mate. Always learning :-)
@@seamanjive Yeah. Its sort of getting better. gotta be vacinated and check in all the time but pretty much ok now. Mosman very nice, Manly top beach. Im from out west in the burbs LOL...

I love your videos, & your dry sense of humor. I learned a lot from your instructions. I think you look like Peter Townshen from the band Who.
Thanks Bob. Trying to learn it all too... Haha.. I think more like Alexi Sayel from the young ones 😆 where's me jumper
Manual mode has helped me to train to meter my scene with my brain.
Yes. Same it's pits all the pieces together for me too
Thank you..very helpful to me as someone who loves photography as a hobby and still learning 🙏😁

No I have not tried that yet. @robtrek and @narrowbandchannel are experts on it for m43 cameras. They have good tips
